This was a great way to spend our... -
This was a great way to spend our first day in China. Cindy was really friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating to all our questions. We were taken to some great places to eat we would never have gone to on our own as these are where the locals consider best. We were then taken to the fabric market and Cindy knew which places inside specialised in what we were looking for, and helped us to negotiate when we found things we liked.

This was a lovely start to our time... -
This was a lovely start to our time in Shanghai. As it was a public holiday we were the only ones on the tour so we had Cindy's undivided attention and the streets were relatively quiet. The food was interesting and seeing the old Qtr in Shanghai was also very interesting. We had a fun time at the Fabric markets and all got things made which we were very happy with! We loved the Xiao Long Bau at the end!

If you want to experience 'old... -
If you want to experience 'old Shanghai' and go where the locals go - then I highly recommend this tour. Lots to see and taste! Our tour guide Cindy was really lovely and was happy to help to 'negotiate' the best prices for us. The fabric market is interesting - but be prepared to spend some money if you want that special 'tailor made' garment. Well worth the trip.

In total, we only tried two... -
In total, we only tried two different kind of street food Wontong and Soup Dumplings. For these two dishes, we walked around 1h. The Tour Guide was nice, but we did not get so much explanation when walking through the small streets of Shanghai. After the breakfast tour, we joined a tea shop at Yu Garden where we got pressured to buy tea, pearls, ... for high price I know the real prices at local tea shops for the same kind of tea. At the end, we went to a Shopping Mall with several shops for tailor made suits and clothes. This was quite interesting.
