Great tour to learn about food & culture - We had a great experience with Alana. Once we arrived in Qibao, we first visited the main shopping street, full of traditional houses, and then started our tour with delicious dumplings. We then wandered through a long street food area where Alana made some special recommendations and we were also able to pick out a few things we were interested in. Everything was so tasty and new, really great. Then we visited a local temple, had another great lunch and finished our tour at a nice tea house to relax after the walk. It's a great tour to learn about Chinese culture and food.

Awesome Food & Cultural Tour - I had a fantastic time on this tour. Alana was fantastic, and there was so, so much great food. Definitely a highlight of my trip. I only wish I'd had room to eat more. Alana was great guiding me through using the Shanghai metro for the first time, taught me a lot about Chinese history and culture, showed me some really amazing sites in Qibao, and knew exactly where to go for the best food I've had in months. I'm recommending her tour to all my friends who visit Shanghai. I also cannot stress just how many good options there are. Without Alana, it would have been overwhelming, and a lot harder to navigate.

A healthy dose of food for body and soul - May was brilliant. Very well spoken, and respectful. The food she showed us was just as good as the knowledge of Buddhism she imparted. Highly recommend.

great time with good food. - had a great walk around and was excited to try some local dishes. my gide was very insitefull and one the first things he checked was if I has any dietary needs or concerns. he then did a great job of keeping up on them. sadly one of the things we order did have an ingredient I couldn't have but he cought it right away saving me from an unhappy day. All in All it was a great day trying new foods, learning some history and checking out a temple. Splerge for the massage your Feet will thank you. give it a try!

Fabulous tour - This tour exceeded my expectations, largely because of the conversation with Nán and the opportunity to learn more about Chinese culture. The food we sampled along the way was delicious and I enjoyed the explanations of the various culinary delights. I felt lucky to have Nán as my guide, she is smart, kind and very knowledgeable.

I was able to try any food I wanted, but was also guided by Queena to make sure I was able to try some classics the classics. Make sure to come hungry, because you will leave full! I was able to try much more food than I had thought. It’s exactly the kind of food tasting experience I was looking for. I also really enjoyed seeing the Buddha Temple. Highly recommend anyone visiting Shanghai to take a break and dip in to a bit of Chinese history.

We tried lots of traditional foods (our favorites were the Bamboo Rice and Fried Dumplings) and ended the day with a beautiful tea ceremony. I would highly recommend this tour to everyone.
