Best western boxing gym in Hua hin - After 1 month at elun goliardo western boxing class I can say with my hand on my heart that it’s the best option for boxing, Muay Thai and BJJ. The western boxing coach is a legend. He has helped me improve massively and pushed me to reach new levels.

An awesome place to train and an excellent Western Boxing Coach! - What an awesome place to train! I absolutely loved training here with Goliardo Raúl (Western boxing) Not Dead (Muay Thai) and Mike (JuJitsu). Goliardo was so patient with me (challenged me every single day) and knew when i was at a breaking point vs. when he could push me harder. I 100% reommend him and the gym. I can't wait to go back an train again in the years to come! Couldn't rate these guys any higher!

Try something new! - My wife and daughter took this class as an introduction to Muay Thai the last time we were in Hua Hin. My daughter has been learning Judo but a shoulder injury has kept her out of training for almost a year. This looked like a great option that wouldn't stress her shoulder. She loved it! Instructor was patient and a true professional. Gym was modern, clean, and surprisingly cool. My daughter even signed up for additional Muay Thai training upon our return to LA. Wonderful to see this experience inspire a new passion.

Amazing Muay Thai gym - Absolutely loved our sessions with Fight Nation! We did 4 weeks of training as a couple and the kids sessions too. Bas and Pet are inspiring trainers - they work you hard but are also kind, funny and encouraging. I am so impressed with how much I have learnt and progressed after coming in with no experience at all. Highly recommend 🤩

Informative and good class but wouldn’t Wouldn’t recommend for solo travellers who are first-timers tbh - My class was at 6.30 pm (saying bc it’s not clear on Tripadvisor) and I was part of a class of more regulars folks. I had never boxed before and I really, really, really (!) liked my teacher who took the time to very patiently explain the basics to me. We then went in the ring and would fight the teacher one by one which was nice to do and there was another regular who patiently took me aside to explain some things which was super kind of him. I really liked it up until then but we then were paired in groups of two and I unfortunately got paired with a teenage know-it-all who would literally tattle tale to the teacher when I didn’t immediately understand something (hello, first timer here). He himself was literally mediocre at best. (Reader, he would talk to the teacher gesture towards me and be like what do I do with her?) Safe to say that after about 30 min of this I got very annoyed. The teacher then said it was over and I understood this to mean that the class was over so I left the ring to change. Only when I got out of the dressing room did I realise the group was still stretching. So I think the class is normally 2 hours. There was also some earlier confusion as I booked it the evening before and contacted them him asking what time I should come. They called me at midday the day of saying I had to come at 2.30pm. I replanned my entire day based on that but when I arrived they said they made a mistake as I booked the group class not the private class so I had to come back at 6.30pm. Only when I said they could have called me back to tell me they made a mistake, did they offer to get me a cab or a beer. I declined. They also made me feel guilty for only booking it the night before: imo if you don’t want people to book the night before, then don’t make it an option for people to book the night before. Also: maybe add the timings to the booking description. I still think this is fun to do but not if you’re just passing through, a first timer and a solo traveler like me. If you’ve either done it before and/or live in Hua Hin and/or are doing it with other people, by all means book this lesson!
