There be whales, captain! - What an amazing experience! We saw three different humpback whales and one even came up close to the boat. Our tour guide and marine biologist was very knowledgeable. The cookie and hot chocolate was the perfect way to end the tour.

10/10 amazing experience - What an amazing experience! Appropriate admission fee, totally worth it; we followed two magnificent humpback whales for over an hour. Beware if you get seasick easily. Boat leaves AT the scheduled event time (arrive 10 min early), ran the listed length of visit. Atmosphere was relaxing, I felt very connected with nature through watching the water and mountains. Crowd size was small, plenty of space to move around & for everyone to see. Staff was helpful and knowledgeable. Laura was an amazing guide; she made us feel safe & comfortable, she was entertaining, & taught us everything about the sea & sea animals.

Arskogssandur whale watching was successful - Our activity at husavik was cancelled due to the weather. We could get the alternative option in Arskogssandur fortunately. We saw humpback whales there.

Beautiful experience - Great experience! Punctual and precise in the preliminary stages of boating and in the explanations related to safety and sighting methods. Our guide, Laura, very good and able to accompany us with her directions all the time. Very nice and welcoming cabin crew and captain. During the whale watching we stopped at two different points and saw in both cases the whales. All very exciting. To give us some more excitement, the boat ride lasted beyond the established time and we had the opportunity to see, very closely, the last whale.

Fantastic experience. The... - Fantastic experience. The crew were absolutely amazing. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and environmentally conscious. They know exactly which spots are whale watching hotspots and they ensure the nails, birds, mammals are viewed from a safe distance so they're not distressed. We saw a humpback doing backflips and side flips for almost 45 minutes.

Awesome Staff and Crew Couldn't have asked for better from start to finish - From start to finish everyone was great Checking in was easy and the crew on board so helpful and super informative. We were able to see 6 different whales and follow a few along their journey and 2 sets of doubles which was really cool. We were kept informed of where they were sighted and details of what they were doing and how to tell them apart. Very cool

Whales in the bay - The boat was a former fishing vessel, with seats inside and several outside decks. Sailing is by Husavik Bay, near the coast. We saw several whales, and a group of pilot whales. Not too close. There are many other boats around doing the same. The experience is fine, but you spend most of your time staring at the sea, to see a loin or whale tail fleetingly in the distance.

Unpleasant... - Unpleasant experience…it’s a raining day. We have to put on our jumper overalls and raincoat in the boat, out in the open with shelter. The jumper n raincoat were already wet. The jumper and raincoats were very old, buttons not working and some were torn and they were semi-wet as they were put on the deck of the boat without shelter. We had to put on these outfits on the boat without any cover and it’s raining.
