Cool boat and staff - We went in April and unfortunately we didn't see any whales. But the team was very friendly, they had informed before the tour that the previous shift hadn't seen it either, to align expectations. Who knows, maybe we can do it another time. The hot chocolate and cinnamon roll were great treats :)

The best whale watching experience - This is one of the highlights of our Iceland trip and it never disappoint. The Nirth saioing team rocks especially their marine biologiats who provided us some insights. One the the best sights to sip hot choco and eat cinnamon bread is whale watching. My friends and I love it so much! Definitely one of the books! #corememory

Memorable experience - Amazing experience! We were able to see a pod of 6 hump whales together. Our 4 year old loved it and the crew was helpful finding overalls and a warm spot on the boat.

Literally breathtaking! - With a thick, warm extra suit and a sturdy raincoat, we set out on the not so calm sea. The crew is great and does everything they can to spot the whales. Long story short we saw 6 humpback whales swimming at the same time. The crew really knows what they are doing to disturb the animals as little as possible. Simply great. This was not the first time at sea for us looking for whales, but certainly not the last time here in Húsavík. On the return journey there is hot chocolate and cake, a wonderful experience!

Unique experience with many sightings! - We had wonderful weather. The crew was very friendly. Everything was explained in English and German. As soon as we set sail we were able to see a school of dolphins. But after that it got even better. After a few puffins we came to the whale area. And we were really lucky because we were able to see several humpback whales. A truly unique experience.

A sight too see - Great warm clothing offered, excellent commentary and the whales……..we saw at least 7 different whales and the hosts were very respectful for the peace of whales when feeding.

Whale Watching Nightmare - Many reviews out there about Whale Watching being awesome. My review is distinctly the opposite, and I am sure there are other people who agree with me. Booked this company as they offered Eco Friendly Silent Whale Watching. About a week before the booking, got an email saying boat was in repair, would have to book regular tour. Tour cancelled due to bad weather. Went to rebook when in Husavik and asked about silent boat. They said that wasn't happening anymore, though they still advertise it. Decided to book that afternoon, as they said next day might be iffy. First red flag. Arrive at the boat, and it's hailing (not their fault of course). All clients are herded onto the boat, where we have to take off our shoes, put on coveralls (mine had no zipper pull) and heavy raincoats (husband's didn't even have a zipper that worked). Second red flag. Off we go on the tour, and the sea is SO rough, I thought we really shouldn't be out there. Boat is pitching all over the place. Husband is throwing up over the side of the boat (as were a lot of people). Some were just sitting with their eyes closed waiting for it to be over. I try to stand up to see anything, and the boat lists crazily to the left. I go flying against the side of the boat (twice, and likely cracked a rib) and have to struggle to get back to seat. The people on the boat (the agile ones not throwing up) were like a pack of hyenas with a fresh kill. Every time they announced a sighting, everyone piled to that side of the boat. If you were sitting down (as we were), or not fast enough to get there first, you saw nothing. Needless to say, we saw nothing. Couldn't wait to get off the boat. Was this tour good value? No. Did we feel safe? No. Would we recommend it? No. Save your money and go to the Whale Watching Museum. It's very well presented, warm and dry. This may well be an opinion in the minority, but something people should think about before they sign up for this.
