Informative from creatures to gems to industries to histories - The museum is informative and comes with many exhibitions, from creatures to gems to industries to history. Notice that the butterfly center needs extra tickets. The movie Boyhood was filmed here for one scene

Day visit with kids - We went with our kids on April 1st. It was interesting and had a lot of fun activities for everyone to enjoy. You have to pay extra for certain exhibits but overall it was a good experience for the cost.

Definitely worth a visit! - Really good experience with very friendly and knowledgable staff. Most complete stegosaurus skeleton in the world and the whole place is massive. General admission alone is definitely enough but they have excellent additional exhibitions such as “death by natural causes” which I found fascinating and had actual death certificates of people like Walt Disney and Frank Sinatra!

Lots of education - Fun and educational. I love butterflies and to learn. This is an inexpensive place for families. The staff was helpful and plentiful. The store was very expensive. There is a park with a train right outside. All the other museums and the zoo are in the vicinity so you can park and have a busy day.

Short Trip - Nice to visit. Museums, food were very good. We stayed at the Hilton which was very nice. If we only had more time, I would like to see more Parks and fish. Felt pretty safe.

Long lines- good museum-may not be worth wsit for seniors - Be prepared to wait in line a LONG time, especially if ypu qualify for a senior or other discount whichbyou can only get by standing in line-cannot buy online. By the wsy, its hard for a senior to stand 30 min to an hour just for general admission tickets. Wull be the ladt time I bring my parents unless they can figure out a better wsy to sell tickets!

Waste of money because they don’t disclose - First they had all of the parking blocked off. Second they didn’t bother telling us the exhibits would be closing so they could set up for a wedding. Literally kicking people out of dinosaur exhibit. Science exhibit closed before noon. Sign says they are closing at 330. We paid $150+ to get to have one minute in dinosaur exhibit. I would not have paid for entrance. I can’t walk long distances so was in pain by the time we got there. They don’t sanitize the 3D glasses after the movie. What a waste of my money.
