Art and History - I 'm not a Texas native so I don't know much Texas history, but our guide MARNA had an education background and she give us lots of Houston and Texas history ,she made it so interesting that I wanted to learn more.We included the art murals in our tour and each mural had a theme, which MARNA explained, my husband was happy he could take pictures of all the murals , we also learned about the many bayou's in Houston, we will be back. Great tour - Marna was an excellent guide and was very informative. I loved how she knew all the art and was able to explain it to us. My kids and myself walked away very educated and I would definitely recommend it to people.

What A Joy of a Tour - Marna is enthusiastic, upbeat, and best of all, quite knowledgeable about the artists, their themes, and the story of murals in Houston and the worldwide competition. As an example, the mural behind us signifies to be vigilant when driving. Keep your eyes straight ahead for danger is waiting on either wayside. The muralist does "look for a hidden gem". In this case within the eye's pupil. Take the tour and find out what that gem is!

WORTHWHILE TOURS TO GET THE FEEL AND FLAVOR OF DOWNTOWN HOUSTON - The love that Marna and Robbie have for Houston shines through from the first moment you meet them. I took two tours - downtown city tour and city murals. Both were TERRIFIC and enjoyable! Some of the words I would use to describe them and the tours are: knowledgeable, detail oriented, professional, experienced, welcoming, fun, reliable and dependable, able to share interesting behind-the-scenes information, patient, flexible... and they go out of their way to be sure their customers enjoy themselves. The murals tour was a highlight of my trip to Houston! We stopped whenever I wanted to take a photo...and Marna suggested how to get the best angle. I would not hesitate to recommended Joyride Houston to anyone. I learned so much! P.S. They may also be able to provide transportation to and from the airport for customers. This was very helpful as this was my first trip to Houston.

The best Houston tour ever! - This an amazing tour! It was my first time in Houston and it was absolutely gorgeous! Our tour guides were very knowledgeable and friendly and take took some breathtaking photos for me. I totally recommend this tour! Both an educational and artistic experience. - The tour itself was memorable, and I cannot select the Most Memorable part of it. Sarah, our guide, also was an important part of the experience and was very knowledge about the murals, their history, and the artists who created them. It was a complete surprise to me, and I have lived here almost 60 years and worked downtown for a number if those years. I have recommended the tour to many friends

Knowledgeable guide and beautiful artwork - I’m happy I went on this tour with the family. My wife was excited about the tour and loves seeing the murals in different cities, and my brother loves art, so this was perfect for us. To start, Sarah was very easy to communicate with prior to the tour. We were able to arrange a pickup spot that was convenient for everyone and limited the amount of walking my mom needed to do. At each mural, we got a story of the history and meaning of the mural, as well as information about the artist. Sarah knows some of the artists so had some extra tidbits to share. There is also an app that brings some of the murals to life (which worked off and on, but was neat when it worked). Some of our favorite murals were the ones with eyes or dancers in them. Then the sign for the distance to Mars was neat. Doing this tour around the holidays also gave us an opportunity to see downtown with a lot of lights on our way to our drop off point. I fully recommend this tour and would even come back again in a few years to see what’s new.
