Experience a variety of Houston’s tantalizing tastes as your tour guide brings you to five culinary hotspots. Through cuisine, art and history, witness the transformation of EADO from formerly being Houston’s original Chinatown to becoming one of the fastest growing districts in the nation.
Enjoy a tantalizing array of food from a bakery, a taco shop, a barbecue joint, an unconventional grocery store, and a Vietnamese eatery as you get educated about the graffiti art, architectural designs, public artworks, and green zones that have contributed to the formation of EADO.
The tour involves a total of 2 miles walk with intermittent stops.

Awesome tour! - Rory puts a fun, interesting and infectious spin on touring. His knowledge of Houston is incredible and I learned things I didn’t know after more than 20 years in the city. The food choices are amazing so make sure you come hungry and you will not be disappointed!

Best Houton Food Tour! - HowdyHTown delivers a FANTASTIC tour! We soaked up Houdton history and a lot of Houston’s best restaurants. I liked that the restaurants are deeply rooted in the local communities — not Johnny-come-latelies, really great tour, just the right amount of food, history, and culture.

Great tour with good food and an experienced guide! - Had a great food tour with Rory! Being from Houston we were curious how a local tour would be. We weren’t disappointed, each of the places that Rory chose for the tour were great examples of some of the Houston food staple's, including BBQ, Tacos and Vietnamese food. Would definitely recommend anyone who likes food and an entertaining history lesson of Downtown Houston and EaDo experience this tour with Rory!
