Playa Larga Zihuatanejo - On this one hour and 20 minutes horseback-ride experience, you will ride through the beautiful beach of Playa Larga, which is the longest beach in the Ixtapa Zihuatanejo Area.
There will be a lagoon behind the beach with lots of mangrove trees , you will also see the Sierra Madre mountains and a coconut plantation.
In the middle of the ocean there will be 2 beautiful rock formations that you can take a picture.
After the horseback ride you will be taken back to your hotel.

Embark on a delightful morning horse-riding adventure through coconut groves, mangroves and along Playa Larga Beach, the longest beach in the Ixtapa Zihuatanejo region. Feel the comforting ocean breeze as you trot along the beach, with the coastal vegetation, ocean waves, lagoon and mountains combining to create a stunning and refreshing ride.
The horses are amiable, well-disciplined and suitable for both seasoned riders and novices - you’ll have the freedom to dictate the pace and can even encourage your horse to quicken its speed on the beach.
Expect to spend around 75 minutes on horseback, with ample time to capture the experience with your own camera. Our tour guide is also available to snap photos for you using your own camera.
To conclude the ride, we will gift you with a chilled beer or a bottle of water.

Horses on beach - It was easy. Friendly people and horses. Beautiful ride. Great experience. It was my husband's first time on a horse, and he loved it.

Great Family Experience - I can't recommend this enough - it was a great experience, and our guide Pablo made it even better! We got to ride the horses around town, down the beach, and back. It was a very pleasant ride and is great for the whole family.

Excellent tour and well worth the money - We were picked up as promised outside of our hotel. The ride from Embarc to Playa Larga was scenic and enjoyable. The horses appeared to be well-treated. They were also docile and easy to manage. Although our young guide spoke little English, he was charming and helpful (carried a phone to translate when necessary). The beach is beautiful and we rode up to a salt water lagoon where a crocodile decided to make an appearance. For some reason, we did not ride through the coconut plantation - just alongside of it on the beach. Our driver, Pablo, spoke excellent English and was full of interesting facts. We were most interested in his description of local herbal medicines made from the local plants. He stopped and picked a couple of guava for us to sample and recommended a tamarind margarita which my husband tried at a restaurant that evening and loved.

10/10 Recommend - Host was super accommodating and kind. You can get picked up and dropped off at your hotel (in a van that is well air conditioned🙏🏼) the horses are gentle and friendly, and the ride is very beautiful.

Fun memories and what a VIEW! - Incredible experience for everyone! The horses were incredibly well trained and even lined up for photos! Riding down the beach watching the waves come crashing in was perfect! Kids and adults- everyone had a blast and got to do some trotting! The hotel pickup and drop off was great too- the ride was well air conditioned and comfortable- everyone spoke great English and gave us tips and info along the way.

Euphoric Ride On The Beach - Frank picked us up right on time. He was friendly and speaks excellent English. Our horses were saddled and ready when we arrived. They were all calm and probably do the ride in their sleep! Cantering at the end of the ride was the highlight for my daughter and me.

Amazing beach adventure. - We got picked up at our hotel in an air-conditioned van and went to the Playa Larga beach. The guide took us on horseback along the beautiful beach. After that, back in the van to visit a plantation with coconuts, mangos, star fruit plus many more locally grow crops. Then a surprise side trip to visit a local family bakery and a family run place that makes roof tiles by hand. Then a delicious fish lunch with local beers.
It was very interesting to experience the lives of the local people - away from the tourist areas.

Horseback Riding in Zihua - This was a perfect activity when I had some free time before beginning our project. It was the perfect length, not too short, not too long and the guide was informative and fun to be with. Great ride along the beach.

Animal Cruelty - DO NOT GO! Animal cruelty. Malnutrition. Horses had no water. Drinking well was empty and filled with bugs and bacteria.
We left in tears.
