Pura Vida - Our tour guide Kevin wa friendly, knowledgeable, experienced, and kept us safe. The trail to the volcano was amazing, and the horses were very well trained. The sights were breathtaking. We went down the road, through a farm, through the rainforest, and hiked a little to the bottom of the volcano. You should be in moderate to good shape to do this tour, and wear hiking or non-slip sneakers. Highly recommend!

Nice but a bit stressful - The views were absolutely gorgeous! The only reason I take off a star is because it’s not very beginner friendly. It felt like we spent a lot of time galloping or at times full on running which was stressful as someone who doesn’t ride horses frequently. In fact I was pretty terrified at some points. The views from the trail and the experiences along the way (such as meeting the indigenous Maleku) were so cool though that it made the experience worth it, scared as I was.

Cancelled by the operator with no refund or explanation - They send a message the day before the experience was supposed to take place, saying that they need to cancel it. No explanation was given and they never bothered to announce Viator about the cancellation or to refund us the money spent.
Please avoid!!!
