A horseback ride through paradise - An amazing ride through the jungle with waterfalls and swimming holes. Rey took good care of us and showed us some wonderful local secrets. We had a day to remember.

Wonderful horse back riding trip to the jungle - Today we had a horse back riding with Rey. We had a wonderful time! Enjoyed the wilderness of the Jungle and appreciate the site seeing and stories behind it. Especially one with the “Predator” movie. We enjoyed chilling out in the restaurant and the refreshing swim in the little lake next to the waterfall. The Tequila we tested was delicious. Although there were some challenges during the trip due to our incompetence, Rey patiently dealt with them. He made us feel very comfortable and safe. It just added a bit more spice to our jungle adventure. We highly recommend Rey Spearo Adventure tours and definitely will do it again when we get back to Puerto Vallarta next time hopefully better fit.

Gitttty'on'UP!!! - Words cannot explain.. AWWWW'SOMMMEEEEE!!!! My daughter ( 10yrs old) & I ( 43yrs old) had a blast!! Ray gives excellent direction/instructions on how to ride the horses.. His joyful/enlightening energy helps if you're nervous in any way, (Does help tho if you know how to ride a horse-) but Ray is present & observant-there to help right away... My favorite part was the river crossings ( loved my horse-she was sweet & sassy)... & of course my daughter's was riding the little horse... The scenery is breath taking!! Sooo, put on yo'rid'n gear & get ready to have a GREAT experience!!!

Very enjoyable Time. Great host/horses. - Rey is a very insightful, personable and entertaining guide who we enjoyed the entire time we were with him. From basic horse knowledge to life stories, he keeps you entertained and enlightened on what is going on in and around south PV. Our horses were very well kept and not "stable" horses either. Halfway through ride we stopped by the restaurant/theme park which was great. Just wear long pants, horse flies will bite suck your legs dry if you wear shorts. Great adventure.

Fabulous! - As soon as we arrived at the meeting spot we knew we were in excellent hands with Rey and his beautiful horses. Rey is extremely knowledgeable about the area we were riding through and we learned so many new things about this area beyond just riding horses. We loved our time with Rey and truly feel like we’ve made a new friend. We were never rushed and enjoyed a delicious lunch with him at the “Predator” location. Highly recommend this tour or any of the other tours that Rey offers.

Best tour guide goes to Rey! - Rey showed us a great time! We had a nice horseback ride with drinks at the beautiful waterfall. Then a delicious lunch at a little cantina (seriously…amazing food) then we hung out on the beach. We had lots of options for the afternoon but just enjoyed Rey and feel like we have “guy” in Mexico. You need something in the PV area I KNOW A GUY! Lol.

Great adventure - Rey is such a sweetheart...he made us feel so comfortable, it was my 1sr time riding a horse so I was extremely nervous, the experience was a beautiful one! Thank you Rey...I will never forget you! Do not hesitate...just book, you will have a wonderful time.

Nature & Nurture - Rey was very detailed in providing the instructions on what to do and not to do in regards to riding. He was explicit about allowing the horse to lead us, even if or when we became uncertain. To be outdoors with nature, on a horse, with a guide that was so in tune with his craft and knowledge of the history, was remarkable. After the ride, we walked over to Mismaloya Beach, and we were in for more of a surprise. All of the locals were so welcoming. Rey and his wife Empress were greeted like superstars, which is a testament of their relationship with them. The tour ended with a conversation no one expected, but each walked away with such a profound respect and understanding of each other's personal history.

An amazing experience - highly recommended - An amazing tour with a world-class tour guide. It was new year day 2023 and there was some miscommunication with the head office. Rey didn't expect us. Instead of turning us away, Rey rushed to the assembly point and professionally conducted the tour. Rey is not just a tour guide, but a great philosopher and role model for those of us who would like to live on purpose and believe in empowerment. He is fully of energy, from showing us the wild life to flying drone with all kind of stories to tell including aerospace tools & technologies. He stayed extra late and going above and beyond to help us with a little anomaly we had and get us home safe for which I will never forget his kindness and professionalism - thank you, Rey!!! Next time we come visit Puerto Vallarta, dinner is on us! Wish you continued successes.

Bring extra cash and bug spray - First let me start by saying the actual tour itself was good. The horses were cared for and friendly. We went into the jungle as Ray called it. It was nice. I warn u though wear bug spray as you will get lots of bites. As far as the rest of the trip we were less than satisfied. We went to the area where they filmed preditor. Wasn't as interesting as you would think. Knowing ib was not feeling v well he pushed us into ordering from the restaurant. He ordered a beer and was going to order food. But after we orderd out nachos. Hev decided not to order food and just have his beer. He talked about all of his business endeavors that basically basically failed and at this point we felt like it was a time share presentation. When the bill came he didn't offer to pay for his beer and so we bought him his furst one i guess. Then we stopped at their tequila place. Expensive but tasty. We didn't want buy and again he was more pressure. We left on horse and headed back. When the trip was over we were ready to go but he insisted that we try the fish tacos. Best ever. We didn't know how to get out of the area without his help so we went there. We ordered food. Again a beer and tacos. More self presentation taking place and when the lady ask how he wanted the bill. He told her together. Knowing spanish myself my husband ask what she needed and in told him she ask bill together or separate. Ray was shocked that i understood. When it came time to pay he didn't offer to pay his food. Then when we told him we were ready to leave he just wouldn't let up about showing us the beach and was suprise that we didn't want tob stay and spend time on it. I just wanted to go. I told him it was time again to find taxi or uber. He final got the point. He got paid and then some on this trip. It was not a cheap excursion to say the least after cab to and from and lunches. Im not saying he's not a nice man but he needs to work on approach. Tell more about the area and history and less about himself and all the blame he places on his past endeavors. We didn't care. He told me if i left a review he would send me the video of our trip. We never got it. Never got pictures of usv in horses l, left the trip like we were ending a 3 hr time share experience for Mislamoya and less money in our pocket. Its a decent ride but i can't say it was more than a 2 or 3 star experience because of everything else.
