Very enjoyable hour or two spent here at Low Tide - We had a tightly packed schedule on our six week Canadian trip so felt we were extremely lucky to get to Hopewell Rocks at low tide, allowing us to walk on the sea bed and enjoy all the wonderful rock formations from below. It was pretty busy - we were there on 10th September - including some people with pets. It was fun to watch them bounding about joyfully, particularly one retriever puppy who ended up covered in black mud. We chose to use the pathways down to the staircase, which was a lovely walk through a pretty forest. We also did a detour to look out over the clifftop. Unfortunately we were not able to return for high tide but our visit was well worthwhile.

Easy access to this unique site - A group of friends on a trip stopped here, timed to low tide. The visitor center is very nice with great history exhibits and a cafe. The walk is as described on clean trails. Seeing the geology and views of the bay are really special. We walked along the "beach" for about 45 minutes. We did not stay for the tide to rise, but the ticket is good for 2 days so best to return the next day at high tide when you can take a kayak ride.

Fascination at its Best! - It is amazing to experience these tides and the rocks. Leave plenty of time to be able to see both high tide and low tide. Good walking shoes are recommended although there is a shuttle option to the viewing area. I wore ankle high boots that were covered with mud after walking on the sea floor. There is a hose station to clean off shoes. There are also about 100 steps to get down to the sea floor. It wasn't as difficult as I thought as the stairs are wide. The center offers a wonderful display with explanations, a generous cafe with food and gift shop. It's great to be able to view high tide, return to the center for a snack and then go back to view low tide. You can walk down to the viewing area and take a shuttle back or shuttle both ways if mobility is an issue.

Fascinating site. - The Hopewell Rocks are a collection of sea/stacks/flower pots that at high tide are predominantly underwater but are exposed when the tides are low. On the tops of these rocks are plants and trees. This phenomenon relates to the wild fluctuation in high and low tides in the Bay of Fundy, and the effects of the water on the less durable rocks in the area, with subsequent erosion. We were lucky enough to arrive close to low tide. There are many sea stacks visible, though you may get your shoes muddy. Nonetheless, this is a very nice attraction and a must see.

Cool place to visit - It's cool walking on the ocean floor whe tides out..looking at the caves, after about 15 mins kinda all looks the same though, but yiu have to see it!!!. Long walk to get to floor but they do have a shuttle to take you foe a cost. Lots of steps to get down. No elevator. Gift shop good. Have a snack bar but didn't visit it.

An unusual experience - The view was nice and unusual. Did not feel like walking on the ocean floor as many people are saying. It was quite muddy but the rock formations are interesting.

An amazing natural site... - An amazing natural site and phenomenon. Interpretive centre was well done. Improvements to the booking system could be made. No separate line for those who pre purchased tickets. It was no more convenient or faster than buying tickets at the site.
