Loved this - Our 48 hour purchase was supposed to start on Saturday, but we weren’t able to start using it until Sunday and it was no problem. I was soooo relieved. We enjoyed getting around the city with ease and my 3 year old loved sitting on the open air upper deck. The app is super helpful- it shows you where the buses are in real time. The audio was great and they give you headphones. It’s an aux connection if you want to bring your own.

The service ends too... - The service ends too early each day. 18:00 is too early to end. There are 2 1/2 hours of daylight left. People eat and Sightsee later in the day.

Mediocre - Bus route stops were not clearly marked. Hesitated to get off for fear would not find bus stop to get back on.

We did not make good use... - We did not make good use of the Hop on Hop Off feature, using it as an overview. As such, the recorded information was scanty at best. Stops were too long.

It was a good day, expect for the changes to the toughh by - It did seem like it was a good idea. You could have been great, but when a couple of stops. It would have been nice if I would’ve been given the name of places where the bus was to stop at.

Ok - We found that some of the stops was to far away from some of the interest points our example was we was told for St Paul’s basilica , museum and sisten chapel get off at stop 6 but then it was a 30 minute walk which was to much for a disabled person

Only need to do it once - Not the best way to get around. It’s good to do it once but as a hop on hop off there is much better ways of getting around the city.

Do not do the big bus in Rome - We have done the big bus in several different cities and this was by far the least efficient. We would stop at every stop and stay for several minutes. The other bus companies(especially the pink one) would have 4 buses come before the big bus. Do not do the this company in Rome!

Terrible,never could activate - Could not locate any stop but 1 & it was closed until after 11. Never saw a Big Bus near any attractions , was never able to activate our tour tickets . Stopped at their kiosk that seems tickets , they also were of absolutely no help , in fact down right rude. Contacted company , would not provide refund .

Book a different bus tour to avoid massive wait times - We bought the ticket for this service and then spent close to an hour waiting for a bus that arrived totally packed. In the time we waited other tour providers had three buses. Clearly there are better tour operators available in Rome.
