Outstanding Tour!! - This was an outstanding tour. Our tour guide was friendly and very welcoming! This is a great way to get an overall orientation to Honiara Island. We also learned about the history of the island as well as the country of Solomon. Such a wealth of great and interesting information. The tour of the city was also amazing to get to see the various neighborhoods. I definitely recommend taking this tour when visiting Honiara!

Tour on a rainy day. Still fruitful! - It’s a rainy day. The national museum wasn’t open without notice. However, the tour was still enjoyable: 1. The art gallery, despite the humble scale, is a real treasure. The paintings and sculptures by local talents are unique and meaningful. 2. We went to additional spots, the WWII monuments by both sides (US and Japan). They are there to memorialise and harbour the country’s past war history. The memorials present precious information for documenting the collective experience in human history and harbouring the emotional memory - which is far but still not-so-distant. 3. The warm and pure characters of the local people are the key charm of the country and the highlights of the tour. Thanks for the flexibility and organised arrangements!

Awesome half-day tour of the best Honiara sites. - Joyce and Morrison gave me a complete and exciting tour of Honiara. We started at a well-kept memorial to the soldiers who fought in 1943 at Guadalcanal. Later, we visited the new soccer stadium, National Museum, and two gorgeous Catholic cathedrals that we open-air so you could see the ocean and feel the breeze. We also toured the huge farmers market where local fish, vegetables, and fruits are brought by the farmers for the locals to buy. Finally we visited an Art Gallery which was actually a market where artists have stalls to sell their wood carvings, bead necklaces, shirts, paintings, and other crafts. These were not ordinary souvenirs, but rather museum-quality pieces at a price that anyone could afford. Every single stop on the tour was fantastic! I wouldn’t want to miss anything. Joyce and Morrison allowed me to select the start tome, and they stopped at a supermarket so I could buy snacks, and they would have stopped at a restaurant if I had asked. They’ve the best ambassadors to show you their beautiful Solomon Islands. Kym USA

friendly start to know the country - the tour was eventually combined with another pair who had booked world war two sites which was fine. pot hole tastic on the roads and the information on the war was interesting. the museum was not up to much and tanks on show were more interesting due to the trees growing in them. the two guides were very nice - chatty friendly and gave a good insight into Solomon Island life. Half day tour - in retrospect could do this walking around if you take your time - have an umbrella and keep your things safe on you.
