Fantastic tour with Alex! - I had lived in HK 2016 to 2020 but booked the tour with my son to experience food and culture from a native HK. Highly recommending Alex who did a fantastic job in taking us to authentic, high quality local eats + history explained & cultural tour on HK island. Follow up was great with photos and even a short summary video of our tour! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A Fantastic Food Tour with Sinclair! - We had the best time exploring Hong Kong with Sinclair as our guide. He is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and an amazing storyteller. I loved the way he brought Hong Kong’s rich history to life — from cultural traditions to hidden neighborhood details you’d never notice on your own. I learned so much throughout the day, and of course, tasted some truly amazing food. Our tour took us from dim sum at Luk On Kui Tea House through the bustling dried seafood streets of Wing Lok Street and Des Voeux Road West, where we got an up-close look at shark fins, bird’s nests, and traditional Chinese medicinal goods. We wandered through the vibrant Graham Street wet market and enjoyed delicious stops like Dragon State Kitchen (BBQ pork, beef rice noodle, and a perfect ice lemon tea), Tai Cheong Bakery for their famous egg tarts, and Mac’s Noodle for comforting shrimp wonton soup noodles. Even riding the Central–Mid-Levels Escalator became part of the fun with Sinclair’s commentary. Sinclair made the entire experience seamless, engaging, and genuinely enjoyable. His warmth and passion for Hong Kong shine through in every moment. This was truly a highlight of our trip. Highly recommend booking a tour with Sinclair — you’ll walk away with a full stomach, a deeper appreciation for Hong Kong, and memories you’ll keep forever.

Great Tastes Fascinating History of Hong Kong - The Small Group Hong Kong Island Food Tour not only gives great tastes of the iconic foods of Hong Kong Island, but if you're fortunate enough to have Alex as your tour guide, you get fascinating stories, the HOWs and WHYs of the food, and history of the food that influences Hong Kong cuisine today. I take a LOT of food tours in many countries all over the world and they are separated into two types. The first is where you graze on food, taste after taste without much understanding of what's going on. The tour ends with a full stomach but an empty mind. The second type is what THIS tour is. It's when you have a passionate and knowledgable guide who curates the tour and makes it more a LEARNING experience than solely an eating experience. Alex made the 4 hour tour go buy very quickly by constantly engaging us in the stories BEHIND the food. Hong Kong has so many influences in the cuisine and I feel you can't adequately TASTE without knowing HOW and WHY. Alex brings the food to life.

A great individualized tour! - We booked a private food tour of Hong Kong with Andy and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Our age range was 38-80 and we each had a great time. He met us at our hotel and we traveled by subway, tram, and public bus. He tailored our route to minimize stairs. In addition to taking us to unique and special places, we learned a lot about life in Hong Kong. It was the best tour experience we’ve ever had.
