In this tour, you will have the unique opportunity to discover “off the road” what the Americans achieved during the 100 days Normandy Campaign.\n\nYou will discover Utah beach, La Pointe du Hoc, Omaha beach and the Normandy American Cemetery of Colleville sur Mer thoroughly & have the privilege to meet the owner of Brecourt Manor whose guns were captured by the Easy Company of the 506th PIR, 101st Airborne Division (the iconic Band of Brothers series)\n\nNote: for Brecourt Manor we need minimum 72 hours notice….\n\nThe tour is your tour, thus we can’t in advance tell you how long you will stay at each stop as this will be your decision! Experience a day-long, private, customized tour with Normandy American Heroes, visiting the significant D-Day landing sites and principal American battlegrounds in Normandy. You’ll gain a deeper understanding of the historical events that took place during World War II in Normandy and also get acquainted with the region’s heritage and culture.
From the Honfleur cruise terminal, which is 1 hour 45 minutes away from Utah beach, you can unwind in the luxury SUV, watch a movie, listen to music or chat with Rudy, our Interpretive Guide and expert in the Normandy American campaign.
Once you reach Utah beach, prepare to journey back in history. Just know, ours is not a Disney-style tour!
The reason is simple; we want you to take it slow and fully grasp the magnitude of what the Americans accomplished on D-Day and beyond.
