Family Adventure - So fun! Team #1 really took care of our group of twelve. Ages 7 to 50. They were great. My daughter had to switch out from an ATV to buggy mid trial, wit was no problem. Advice if you’re not an experienced ATV rider, go with the buggy. The course is rocky. Request team #1, great group of guides!

Awesome excursion with a personal driver!!! - This excursion was great!! Once you leave the ship, you have to walk out of the port gate up this pretty big hill or you can take a taxi for $2 a person. Our driver was Ernie. He is your personal driver/guide the entire day!! We even asked him to take us to a coffee shop first. The first part is an animal sanctuary with monkeys, sloths, and toucans. Ernie our driver stayed the entire time but stayed by the exit to meet us when we were finished. He then drove us to the ATV/ dune buggy park. My husband and son drove the ATV’s. My daughter is 16, but doesn’t have her drivers license so we had to ride the 2 seater dune buggy and I drove. You will get EXTREMELY muddy. Wear clothes you don’t care about, or immediately wash off the mud. My daughter’s clothes got stained because she didn’t rinse them off and it will not come out. The dune buggy’s worked, but we’re very old and rickety, but still a lot of fun. After that, Ernie drove us to a beach resort. We had lunch at a restaurant then found a Paloma on the beach, had drinks at the bar and went swimming. Ernie stayed back the whole time but came on the beach to let us know it was time to go to make it back to the ship in time. Overall I would highly recommend this excursion!!!!

Memorable experience - The traffic in Roatan is heavy making pick up at the port challenging but the tour company communicated well which we greatly appreciated. Our tour guide was excellent and very welcoming.

Know Before You Go: Muddy! - You WILL get covered in mud! Old, disposable clothes only or nylon material only. The buggy course is crude and naturally challenging. Water and mud everywhere. Buggies are old and some function poorly. Still, it was dirty-good fun! The later trip to animal sanctuary was limited but interesting. We got lots of contact with monkeys, macaus, and sloths.

Be watchful of Guides/Resort - Overall this tour was a very good experience. However, when we ate lunch at the Beach Resort they added 2 hamburgers to our bill, which just so happened to be what the Guide and driver ordered???? We reached out to Viator and of course the tour blamed it on the resort and suggested we contact the resort directly. With Viator assistance in contacting the resort we are to be refunded for the overcharged burgers in 5-7 business days from March 5. As of today, no refund and I will likely dispute the full charge on my credit card. Not to mention food was way overpriced at the Resort and no towels provided, they also wanted $35 per person to utilize the pool!! What a ripoff!!!

Buddies busted - 3, the buggy adventure was disappointing only because the side by side buggies were all in awful shape, our first two broke down, the third has such poor power that the pushed us up on most hills. The buggy ride I we oils rate as a 0 on a scale of 1-5
