Mad Monkey Hanoi - WELCOME DAY: 9:30 AM– The journey kicks off. Board the sleeper bus from Mad Monkey Hanoi and get comfortable for the 8-hour trip to Ha Giang City. We’ll make a brief stop for stretching, snacks, or any last-minute purchases.
ETA: Between 3:30 PM and 4:00 PM — as Vietnam roads are not known for punctuality. Upon arrival, it’s time to get acquainted: meet the team, enjoy a swim, and indulge in a BBQ before the real excitement begins tomorrow.

Ha Giang - DAY 1 — RISE & EXPLORE
Start the day with breakfast, coffee, and a spirit of adventure.
We depart at 8:30 AM towards Pác Sum Pass for breathtaking views, followed by a trek and swim at Khau Làn Waterfall.
Next, visit Quán Ba Heaven Gate (it truly lives up to its name), have lunch in Tam Son town, and enjoy a picturesque ride across the Dông Hà suspension bridge and Thai An route.
Coffee break in Lüng Hö? Absolutely.
Then, head to Du Già Valley — check in, enjoy the pool, and watch the sunset.
Conclude with a local family dinner and a few shots of happy water (hydration with a kick).

DAY 2 — DEEP DIVE INTO CULTURE & NATURE

Dong Van - DEEP DIVE INTO CULTURE & NATURE
OPTION 1
Travel the scenic backroads through Red Dao and Nung villages, heading to Ban An stream for a relaxing bamboo raft ride.
Then, elevate the experience — visit Ma Pi Leng Pass (the iconic one), climb for panoramic views, and tackle the Skywalk if you’re feeling brave.
Stay overnight nearby — this beauty deserves more than a quick visit.

OPTION 2
First stop: an old French military post (history with a view), followed by coffee overlooking terraced rice fields and mountain peaks.
Lunch in Meo Vac, then a boat ride down the Nho Que River and a float through the dramatic Tu San Alley.
End the day cruising the Ma Pi Leng Pass — also known as the Road of Happiness, but it’s the views that will truly captivate you.

DAY 3 — UNCOVER HIDDEN GEMS

After breakfast, head southwest to visit the H’mong King’s Palace — a deep dive into local hill tribe history.
The journey takes you past dramatic rocky outcrops (actual tectonic drama) and the stunning cliffs of Tham Ma Pass, offering incredible photo opportunities.
Lunch in Yen Minh at one of Ha Giang’s oldest restaurants — authentic local cuisine.
From there, explore more mountain passes, ancient villages, and hillsides covered in hemp (the textile kind).
Aim to return to Ha Giang by 3:00 PM for the bus back to Hanoi, arriving in the city around 11:00 PM.

DAY 4 — SAY FAREWELL WITH STUNNING VIEWS

Begin the day with a 4km hike to Lung Khuy Cave — expect to burn around 326 calories (or at least enough to justify a hearty lunch afterward).

The trail meanders through wild karst landscapes at 850–1100m above sea level. Inside the cave? Complete silence, interrupted only by the gentle drip of water echoing through ancient rock.
After the hike, head to Quan Ba District for a final lunch with a view — then return to Ha Giang for the journey home.
