Food education tour - Kennie was our guide, he was extremely personable and knowledgeable which was just as we desired.
Would highly recommend this tour particularly ending with train street.

Must do when in Hanoi! - Together with Max and a Brazilian couple we went exploring the old city of Hanoi and ate seriously delicious street food. Max had loads of interesting stories and is a REAL food lover ! We visited 7 joints and I learned a lot about Vietnamese food culture. Must do when in Hanoi!

Fantastic food experience - We had a wonderful time with Huy. We visited fantastic local restaurants and learned a lot about Vietnamese cuisine, so fresh, so balanced, so tasty. It's hard to pick our favourites as they were all so good. Huy was so generous and accommodating, I would unhesitatingly recommend this tour with him.

The Real Hanoi Foodie Adventure - I recommend everything in this tour!!! Chris taylor makes his food tour pending on what you like and don’t like. Also if there is a certain dish or many you want, let him know and i’m sure he can he can accommodate your needs and personalise your tour even more to your liking. Not only that but he takes you to where mostly the locals eat so you know you’re getting the real Hanoi foodie experience. One of the best food tours i have been on. Thanks once again Chris, you’re a legend brother :).

Chris of Hanoi is a GIFT to travel loving foodies! - One word, AMAZING! We are sooooooo fortunate that Chris of Hanoi gracefully escorted us through the culinary delights offered in his home town. Chris met us on the steps of our hotel (Sinfonia Del Rey). As we walked to our first stop, he folded in historical facts and educated us on local customs. Over the course of 3+ hours, we sampled eight different traditional foods/ beverages, many of which were in family owned establishments that we would never have found had we wandered about on our own. We travel often and this was hands down best private foodie tour we have ever had the pleasure of enjoying. Being guided by one who is passionate about food as well as where he grew up was a TREAT! Thank you Chris!

Best Walking Tour in all Vietnam - Chris was very knowledgeable, he took us to the best foods in Old Quarter. He grew in that area so we went to restaurants he use to go since he was a kid and still frequents them with his family. We tried the Egg Coffee with the family that invented it and it was definitely the best; he took us to a "Michelin" Pho place and many more amazing places.

Absolutely legend, not did he take us to 8 different eateries throughout hanoi city areas , his knowledge and in depth helpful conversations along the way were brilliant
The eateries Chris took us too were authentic Vietnamese eateries , not westernised restaurants, glad we did , the flavours of some of the dishes from the eateries were amazing
A real enjoyable food tour with , such great eateries and cuisines

Excellent private tour through the old quarter - We had a great food experience with Chris in the old quarter.
He had some great spots with amazing food and drinks planned out, but also gave us some alternatives and implemented our wishes. He told us a lot of background stories and historical tidbits.
I would definitely recommend doing a tour with Chris and will book one again, if we come back to hanoi.
