The nature here is stunning with abundant historical and cultural information about the Vietnamese people - We explored Huong Pagoda because I wanted to learn more about the culture and beauty of Northern Vietnam. The nature here is stunning with abundant historical and cultural information about the Vietnamese people. The lunch was delicious, especially for some vegetarians who prepared the tastiest dishes we've ever had. The local people here are skilled boat rowers. We also booked additional tours like the 3-day Ha Long and Cat Ba, and 2-day 1-night Ninh Binh tour with BCfamilytour... and others. Their team supported us a lot even though we knew there were many other guests besides us. You make requests, and they assist via WhatsApp: +84886559609 ; +84886558690

I'm thrilled to share our incredible experience during a one-day cruise in Halong Bay with my family and friends - My day cruise to the Perfume Pagoda in Vietnam was a captivating journey that seamlessly blended culture, history, and natural beauty. The transportation provided was reliable and comfortable, setting a positive tone for the day. The Perfume Pagoda itself was a marvel, rich in history and cultural significance. Exploring the sacred caves and pagodas amidst the stunning landscape was a truly immersive experience. The cruise allowed for a unique perspective, enhancing our understanding of the area's deep-rooted traditions. The on-board cuisine was a delightful surprise, offering a variety of delicious and locally-inspired dishes. The combination of good food, comfortable transport, and the richness of Vietnamese culture made this day cruise an unforgettable adventure. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a perfect blend of history, culture, and scenic beauty.

Hanoi Perfume pagoda tour: amazing tour, beautiful - Huong Pagoda is a sacred place for the Vietnamese people. Our family had a wonderful Huong Pagoda tour. Sam and Daisy assisted us greatly to have amazing experiences. The Huong Pagoda is very tranquil and beautiful. The delicious lunch was excellent, with vegetarian options for some members of our family. We booked a tour at a very reasonable price. Thank you, Sam and Daisy. If you want to contact them, send a message via Whatsapp: +84886559609. Thank you!

haven of peace - A place that locals use for meditation and worship of their gods is not touristy but in spring it is not recommended due to the large influx of Vietnamese. The rest of the year it is a very beautiful place and different from the rest.

Gorgeous temples, beautiful river -- smooth and enjoyable day! - A full and amazing day with a boat ride and beautiful pagodas! BC Family Tours made our excursion simple---we had clear and consistent communication with them before we even left, and they met us right in the lobby of our hotel for the drive to the river. Our guide was such a nice man, and so full of information. He was great. The temples were gorgeous! Especially the one you visit before lunch and before the Perfume Pagoda. Incredibly beautiful. Lunch was very nice, in a little local place right by where you can take the sky tram up to Perfume Pagoda. One note on whether you hike up or take the sky tram: you don't need to decide in advance. There is a ticket booth right by the restaurant. You can hike or ride depending on how you are feeling in the moment. If anybody had mobility issues, keep in mind there there is still a lot of walking and stair climbing even if you use the sky tram. After you get off the tram, it's a long flight of stairs down to the cave and then back up again. Just something to consider. There was one down side to our day's adventure, but not a huge one. Once on the river, the boat was, admittedly, a little less than ideal. It was a low metal boat rowed by one lady. The seats didn't have cushions---on the way out this wasn't a big deal, but at the end of a tiring day on the way back, they would have been nice. The weather was not too sunny or hot, which is a good thing, because the boat had no roof, so no shade. We saw other boats on the river with motors and roofs----so you make the call. Maybe you want to have a faster boat with a different company? The slower ride gave us more time to see nice things on the river, but if it had been blazing hot, having no shade would have hurt. As it was, we had a great time and we got many beautiful pictures on the river and at the temples. All in all, we were very happy with BC Family Tours and we'd use them again.

Beautiful but disappointed - We had a beautiful day but we were also really disappointed. Our guide was really kind but not at all professional. We had no information about the programation of the journey. He always wanted us to pay for extra stuffs (like bus/cable car…) that we had already paid. He wasn’t waiting if we wanted to take a little bit more time in a pagoda or didn’t helped two old people that were doing the tour with us (we, the customer, had to help the seniors, carry their bags and help them out of the boat/bus). Moreover, his english was really bad. Because of that, even if he sometimes (almost never) tried to explain us some stuff about the pagodas, we were not able to understand a word. In comparison to another tour that were nearby, we didn’t learn anything about the pagodas and it’s tradition. Last but not least, it saddens us to say to you, that except the part of the organisation that were helped thanks to you, we could have done exactly the same tour by ourselves. In conlusion, we are disappointed of this tour proposed by Tripadvisor.

Best avoided - The cave at the top of the hill is beautiful, but it was a long journey just for that. One of the two pagodas visited was largely destroyed during the Vietnam war and most of the structures are less than 50 years old. Interesting to visit, but certainly not the "centuries old" experience which was advertised. Also not advertised is the fact that you are expected to paddle the boat rather than sitting back and enjoying the journey. The worst bit was being confronted with bowls of captured turtles "which will die unless you pay a fee to release them into the water". Apparently paying to save a life is good karma, or is is it just a good way for locals to extract money from gullible tourists? Disgusting!

Worst tour trip of my life! - My day was extremely challenging. The guide, who goes by the name Tom apparently, struggles to communicate in English. Despite paying for an all-inclusive experience with an English-speaking guide, I found myself in a situation where it was reduced to a game of keywords. The tour is hardly worth it because most of the time is spent in a car rather than exploring. Two uncomfortable hours on a boat, followed by four hours of travel, only to have two hours for actual sightseeing. In reality, there isn't much to see, just a pagoda and a small cave. After a brief 10-minute cable car ride, that's pretty much the end of the tour. I must warn you that you won't see much of interest. The landscape doesn't justify the trip. Regarding payment, although it appears there are three options, in reality, there's only one. You're compelled to take the cable car and electric car as you'll be in a group. Furthermore, the guide provided an incorrect price to our group, thankfully, some members asked for proof, revealing a significantly lower price. Strangely, the guide also had trouble making change, suggesting math isn't his strong suit. All in all, this was an extremely disappointing visit, the worst since the beginning of my journey. In summary, it's better not to waste your money on this experience.
