Ha Noi - Mai Chau Valley– Pu Luong Nature Reserve
Mai Chau District - • 6:45-7:00 AM – Guests are picked up from their hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter to begin the journey to Mai Chau.
• Arrive in Mai Chau, known as the capital of the Thai people. Enjoy lunch in a traditional house featuring specialties from the Northwest mountains.
• Take a short break to relax or stroll through the narrow alleys to appreciate local life. Embark on a cycling tour to explore the picturesque Mai Chau valley. Ride through fields and villages, gaining insight into the unique cultural activities of the White Thai ethnic group. Pause to visit local brocade production facilities. Guests are welcome to explore the shops and purchase souvenirs from this distinctive location.
Chieu Cave - The next stop is Chieu Cave, also known as the Thousand Steps Cave. Climb from the mountain’s base to its peak to enjoy a breathtaking view of Mai Chau valley.
Pu Luong Nature Reserve - • Return to the homestay for a tea break.
• 5:00 PM – Board the bus to Pu Luong.
• 6:30 PM Arrive at Pu Luong Nature Reserve. Check into the hotel, enjoy dinner, and relax.

Pu Luong Nature Reserve - • 8:00-8:30 AM: Guests are picked up at their hotel by the guide and taken to Lan Village through rice fields and mountains. Visit a Thai household to see silk weaving from cocoon to textile, and try weaving silk.
• Next, visit Chieng Lau Village to observe traditional farming practices and see the ancient water wheels in action.
Pu Luong Nature Reserve - • 10:00 AM: Embark on a scenic 4km trek from Chieng Lau to Cham Stream. Along the way, stop at a traditional local house to experience genuine hospitality and immerse in the region’s culture.
• 10:45 AM: Arrive at Cham Stream for a bamboo rafting adventure. Relax while floating through lush forests, rice fields, and charming villages. (Bring a swimsuit and towel if the weather is warm.)
• 11:30 AM: Enjoy lunch on the boat.
Hieu Waterfall - • Next, visit Hieu Waterfall - a serene retreat perfect for relaxation after hiking.
• Conclude the day by exploring the local landscape, including rice paddies and streams, before returning to the lodge in Pu Luong Nature Reserve by 4:00 PM.
Pu Luong – Local Experiences: Cycling, Cooking Class, Buffalo Cart Ride – Ninh Binh
Pu Luong Nature Reserve - • 8:00-8:30 AM: Check out of the lodge and head to the Bamboo Bridge over the Ma River. Enjoy scenic views and observe local artisans at work.
• Cross the bridge and cycle through Chieng Ai Village. Visit local families, learn about rice wine production, and taste homemade rice wine. Explore a traditional home, hear historical stories, and join a cooking class to enjoy a family-prepared meal.
• After lunch, relax before experiencing the Natural BMW, the Buffalo cart ride. The buffalo, a cherished member of the host family, will take you to where the car awaits, sharing the region’s culture and hospitality.
• 1:00-1:30 PM: Bid farewell to the wonderful Pu Luong Nature Reserve and begin the journey to Halong Bay on land, Ninh Binh.
• 5:00 PM: Arrive at the lodge and enjoy free time to relax by the pool or on the terrace, soaking in the peaceful atmosphere.

Hoa Lu Ancient Capital - 8:00-8:30 AM: Guests are picked up by a friendly guide to visit Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam from 968 to 1010. Learn about Vietnamese history during the feudal system under the Dinh, Le, and Ly Dynasties.
Mua Caves - Climb nearly 500 steps to reach the top of Lying Dragon Mountain and enjoy a stunning panoramic view of Tam Coc.
Ninh Binh - Enjoy a buffet lunch at the restaurant featuring local dishes such as goat meat, fish, chicken, and fried rice. Vegetarian options are always available.
Trang An Landscape Complex - Visit Trang An, recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 2014. Trang An boasts a magnificent tunnel cave system, chosen by Kong’s Movie Group for the 2016 “Skull Island” film. Spend 2 hours on a boat trip, captivated by the beauty of the area.
• 5:00 PM: Conclude the tour and board the bus back to Ha Noi.
