• Hanoi Opera House - At 8:00 am, a tour guide and vehicle from Paradise Indochina Travel will pick you up from your hotels around Hanoi Old Quarter & Hanoi Opera House. Enjoy the picturesque views of the rural areas along the way.

• Thung Khe Pass - Pause for a scenic photo of the Muong tribes at Thung Khe Pass, where you can also enjoy a spectacular view of Mai Chau Valley. Thung Khe Pass is a remarkable mountain pass in Mai Chau. It is traversed when traveling from Hanoi to Mai Chau and heading towards Moc Chau. Many travelers who drive over this pass are unaware of its name, but it offers a unique experience. Near the top of the mountain pass, there are several small restaurants and shops with thatched roofs, a few tables, chairs, and hot teapots ready for guests who stop by. These shops are near the edge and are also known as the Thung Khe market. Buses from Hanoi often stop here for refreshments and to enjoy the view. It can be quite chilly, and sometimes, if you’re unlucky, you might be in the clouds, obscuring the view. At the “market,” you can purchase food and items that are locally sourced.

• Mai Chau - Arrive in Mai Chau at 11:30. Enjoy taking scenic photos and then stop at Mai Chau Valley along the way. You will be welcomed by the host with a cup of tea. Relax and savor a delightful lunch with a local Thai family (lunch is not included. If you wish to have lunch with the local family, please ask the tour guide to contact them to pre-order after you are picked up. It typically costs 10 USD per person).

• Lac Village - At 13:00, begin a cycling tour with a local guide around Lac Village and Pom Coong Village. Observe farmers working in the fields, locals weaving scarves, and visit the surrounding peaceful village, considered a living museum.

• Hanoi Opera House - At 15:00, bid farewell to the local family and depart Mai Chau to return to Hanoi.

Arrive back in Hanoi at 19:00. You will be dropped off at your hotels or the same locations as in the morning. End of the trip.
