Great music, great vibe with Nr Duc- Cool one! - What a fab evening spent with Duc, showcasing sights and hidden gems in Hanoi Old Town! A great introduction on my first evening in Hanoi, seeing so much on the back of a moped and learning about Vietnam and Hanoi from an informative and humorous Duc! A real ambassador for the city but kind, helpful and engaging. All the food and drink stops were great, the upstairs coffee house overlooking the lake was a real gem, the tasty Pho was amazing but the highlight of the evening was the fabulous Binh Minh Jazz club! We arrived by 9pm d as nd were able to sit at a great table- the ensemble were excellent and acoustic at venue were good- a mixed audience of both young and older, who appreciated the musicianship and repertoire! Great vibe in downtown Hanoi!

I had a great meal with... - I had a great meal with my tour guide Duc. We met some girls from Japan while dinning. Visited a jazz bar with fantastic music. Not being familar with Hanoi, it was great to have a guide that knew the city well. Just a fun night out.

Excellent tour of the nightlife of Hanoi - This tour was excellent and made me feel that I truly experienced the culture in Hanoi. Duc started the tour with 1 sightseeing stop at a cathedral. Since I was traveling alone, he took me on the back of his motorbike to the next tour stops. Sitting on the back of a motorbike and weaving through traffic is an unique Hanoi experience that I will never forget. The next few tour stops included coffee in a hidden, quaint cafe above the streets, beer at stop 1, spring roll at stop 1.5, beer at stop 2, noodles and beer at stop 3, more beer at stop 4, and then travel by motorbike to a quaint jazz bar with a talented band at stop 5 (plus more beer). Don’t hold me to the exact count of beer stops as I lost count after too many beers. All food and drink costs are included as part of the tour. Going through the beer tour, I felt the energy and the bustle of Hanoi. It was great conversing with Duc about life in Hanoi and the views of the local people. Duc has traveled outside of Vietnam and loves meeting people. It was a great experience for me and I would highly recommend his tour to others.

Brilliant Experience - The trip was well planned and we ate in places that we would never have found. Duc was a great guide and explained to us lots about the history, culture and religions of both the North and South. The food and beer was local and authentic and we ended with a visit to the oldest jazz club in Hanoi where the music was awesome. The 74 Yr old owner also joined in with some excellent sax playing. Can't fault the experience and Duc's enthusiasm. A great evening.

A brilliant tour to show you the real history & culture of Hanoi - We decided to take this tour on our first night in Hanoi, knowing nothing about this large city. However, we left the tour feeling confident around Hanoi, loving the food, culture and people. This great tour showed us all the local food and beer with spots like the atmospheric beer street. Not only that but we managed to learn about the history around the culture of the city between our stops. We could not have asked for a better host, as he was easily understandable but also became part of the experience with his great conversation! This is a tour we recommend you take to experience Hanoi in a different light! Not one to miss!

Go for the Binh Minh experience - The selected dishes, coffee, and beers were all great. The tour gave a taste of the nightlife in Hanoi. The stop at Binh Minh jazz club was the highlight for me. Duc was a gracious guide, but he could give more info about the food and drinks we had (which I learned from another tour). He could also assist and guide guests in navigating the busy streets of the Old Quarter during the tour.
