Worthwhile excursion - Chris was an excellent guide. Fluent in English, funny, knowledgeable, flexible quickly changing the lunch plans based on a shellfish allergy, and took us to interesting stops in the countryside. Just the right amount of time at each stop. Highlights were driving down a pavement between rice fields barely wider than the jeep😮, a dress rehearsal for an upcoming festival at a 600-yr old temple, and visiting Mr. and Mrs Cahn at their home😊. He is a 30-yr army veteran who grows over 100 bonsai trees. He served us tea and shared his town and family history. Be prepared though for no seat belts in the 1970 era jeep. Luckily our driver easily navigated city and country roads. 😮😮

Great trip with Bill and bean - This was a great trip with excellent guide and driver. I really enjoyed getting away from the touristy areas and seeing the countryside

Experience all of Hanoi - This tour provided a great experience seeing the outer regions of Hanoi and life for locals in these rural villages. One of the biggest highlights of our trip to Vietnam.

Glad we did this! - Booked the tour together with my mother and daughter (a toddler of almost 3 years old). It was a great experience of experiencing the different scenes of Vietnam. Summi is very well articulated. She is a very friendly guide. She makes the tour a pleasant one. Not forgetting Shang, who takes really great photographs. Loads for memory keepsake. Kudos to the lunch place they took us too. Took us by surprised, at how yummy it is. My toddler even enjoyed herself! She was even asking where Summi is after we departed. Although it’s a little too warm today, it was well worth it. Thank you for bringing us to the local market (experiencing what the locals do their marketing at), as well as catching the train at the train street! Thank you so much. Highly recommended!
