- Old House - The tour guide will meet guests at hotels or locations within Hanoi’s Old Quarter to begin an exploration of the area. If hotel pickup is not required, guests can meet the tour guide at the Cultural Exchange Center, located at 50 Dao Duy Tu Street. The first stop is the house at No.87 Ma May Street, one of 14 ancient houses in Hanoi from the late 19th century that still maintains its original features. It is a popular spot for those interested in the historical daily life of Hanoians. Built in the late 19th century, the house was home to five different families from 1954 to 1999. It showcases the typical tubular architecture of old Hanoi houses, which are narrow but deep.
- Bach Ma Temple - Situated in the heart of the Old Quarter, the small Bach Ma Temple, meaning ‘White Horse Temple,’ is considered the oldest temple in the city. Although much of the current structure dates back to the 18th century, a shrine to Confucius was added in 1839. Originally constructed by Emperor Ly Thai To in the 11th century, it honors a white horse that led him to this site, where he decided to build his city walls. Bach Ma Temple was one of the four district gate temples of the ancient Thang Long citadel. Visitors enter through ancient wooden doors to see the beautifully decorated interior, a red-lacquered funeral palanquin, a statue of the white horse, a shrine to Confucius, and a Phoenix Altar for seasonal offerings.
- Hang Gai Street (Street of Hemp) - This is one of the most exciting activities in Hanoi, combining a walking tour with a street food tasting tour. Finding excellent local foods in hidden alleys or on sidewalks can be challenging, but the tour guide will assist in selecting the best options. This provides an opportunity to learn about Vietnamese cuisine, culture, and lifestyle, as well as gain insight into the ingredients and historical backgrounds of popular northern dishes. Hanoi street food goes beyond hot dog carts and pretzel stands, offering a chance to try various dishes at local food stands and family restaurants. The menu rotates daily to showcase a variety of delicious options, which may include rice noodle soup with beef, rice noodles with chicken, rice noodles with grilled pork, snail or dry noodles, sticky rice, and various types of donuts, steamed pancakes, or Vietnamese sandwiches.

Sensational tour of amazing food and insights. Exceptional value. - Linh was a sensational guide, who not only ensured we experienced some amazing food, but he was also a font of information about the city as a whole. We were looking to 'eat like a local' and with the exception of 'The Obama' (which is we ate a number of local delicacies that we'd have ordinarily walked straight past, but he ensured we were fortunate enough to discover.
Thank you Linh, we had a wondrous and delicious tour of discovery with you, and experienced a view of the city we would never have thought to try.
For all those reading I can't recommend Linh enough.

Great tour - Our guide Lyna was a calm young lady with very good English and profound knowledge not only in Vietnamese food but also local history and folklore which expanded from past centuries to contemporary times. Discreet and polite Lyna helped us navigate through the busy Hanoi Old Quarter , temples and Train street.
Accurate and timely pick up from the hotel and friendly unforgettable experience.
