HA NOI – LANG SON – CAO BANG (L/D)

Old Quarter - The tour guide will pick up guests by car at their hotel between 7:30-8:00 am, and transfer them to Lang Son.

Hanh Phuc - The journey heads towards the Vietnam and China border, taking approximately 3 hours. There will be a stop at Chi Lang, a 20-km-long structure formed by a narrow valley between two mountains. This site is linked to a significant Vietnamese victory in the past and was considered the strongest citadel of its time. Guests will have 1 hour to explore and visit the “Quy Mon Quan” gate, known as the Gate of Monsters, where many invaders entered Vietnam and were defeated by Vietnamese defenders. After lunch at a local restaurant in Dong Dang, the trip continues with visits to Mother’s Temple and Dong Khe, a historical site of the Battle of Dong Khe during the First Indochina War. The battle occurred in Dong Khe, Tonkin Province, in September and October 1950, resulting in a Viet Minh victory. Dinner and overnight accommodation will be at a Nung family’s homestay in Quang Uyen, Cao Bang.

CAO BANG – BAN GIOC WATERFALL (B, L, D)

Hanh Phuc - After breakfast at the homestay, the tour departs for Trung Khanh, located on the border with China. Here, guests will have the opportunity to meet and interact with the local Nung people in the village of Phuoc Sen, known for its traditional blacksmithing. The farming tools crafted here are essential to the lifestyle, as seen in the surrounding rice paddies and fields.

Ban Gioc Waterfall - Detian Falls - Nestled within stunning landscapes, the breathtaking Ban Gioc Waterfall spans over 300 meters, with half in Vietnam and half in China. Guests will have time to enjoy the powerful atmosphere of the falls and capture fantastic photos before visiting another natural wonder, Nguom Ngao Cave.

Nguom Ngao Cave - This cave extends 2,144 meters underground and is filled with incredible stalactites and stalagmites.

Ba Be - The tour then returns to Cao Bang town and proceeds down the “snake pass” to Ba Be Lake, where guests will stay overnight in a homestay built in traditional Tay style, operated by a local Tay family. Here, guests can relax and enjoy a delicious, authentic home-cooked meal.

BA BE LAKE – HA NOI (B, L)

Ba Be - After breakfast, the final day of the tour begins with a boat ride on the lake. Guests can choose to relax and enjoy the views or take a swim in the cool waters. The scenery includes stunning karst formations covered with wild vegetation and rich wildlife. The boat continues along the Nang River, allowing exploration of the Puong Grotto caves, where guests can marvel at the stalactites and stalagmites formed by river erosion and observe the large bat colony residing there.

Old Quarter - The journey back to Hanoi begins, covering approximately 230 kilometers. The drive takes about 5 to 6 hours. On the way back, there will be a stop at some tea plantations on the hills. Arrival in Hanoi City is expected around 19:00.
