Owen is such a good tourist guide! - I booked this small group tour for my parents & I which we did in the afternoon of January 15th, my Mama's 60th birthday! Our tour guide was Owen who was really knowledgeable and accommodating. Before we hopped onto the bus, Owen shared with me his experience visiting our country, the Philippines last year, and I must say, he's such an expert in speaking the Filipino language! I also loved that his tour guide stick had our famous Jollibee plushie! Talk about love for everything Filipino! The tour bus seats were very comfortable and fully-airconditioned. Thanks to our driver whom I forgot the name (sorry!), we had a smooth drive. Owen also had free water bottles with him that he gave away to the guests. With regards to the tour, Owen gave us map guides for the Ba Na Hills, and explained to us our full itinerary very well. I feel that it's quite hard for a tour guide to make sure that all of their guests are always complete and that nobody's left behind, especially if you're leading a group of at least 10 people! Ba Na Hills is such a huge place and if you really want to see everything, a half-day tour won't be enough. You'll need maybe at least 2 days to visit all attractions! And for that, I want to salute Owen as he's done a very good job in ensuring that everybody in the group were taking the escalators, lifts and cable cars altogether! You can tell that this isn't his first rodeo and that he has done this before! There will be a lot of walking, so if you have a senior citizen with you or somebody who has mobility issues, let him know and he will reassure you that you don't have to walk really fast, and that you can have time to rest for a bit. We went to the French Village, Lunar Castle and my family and I's most-awaited famous tourist spot in Da Nang, the Golden Hands Bridge! This was my birthday surprise to my Mom and she was so happy. There were so many people on the bridge, taking photos, but we managed to get good ones. Owen also offered to take our pictures all throughout our tour. The Golden Hands Bridge was just out of this world! It was so surreal and it deserves to be known around the globe! I also got to meet a new friend from Argentina who was also in the tour with us, and we both tried the Alpine Coaster which was super fun. If you want to ride the coaster, you have to pay separately in their ticket counter because it's not included in the tour. I forgot the exact price but it was around 40,000 to 70,000 VND per person. One coaster can fit 2 persons (the top chair for the driver and the bottom chair just for another passenger), but you can also ride it on your own which is way cooler! It was a very quick ride though, maybe took about 10mins, and then the track brings you back up to the top where you entered. Try it for the experience! We then went to a beer bar and restaurant, where we can avail 2 free glasses of beers or a dish per person using the coupons Owen gave us at the start of the tour. The restaurant only serves fries until 5pm, and we arrived there just after 5, so we only managed to get the free beers, which were still a win! We just ordered our own food. The cable car ride ends at 6pm, and Owen managed to get us in the queue to ride one to go back down to the main entrance. We were all so tired when we hopped back in the bus, however, Owen still managed to offer a carpool karaoke, if anybody was willing! We were all so tired though, so he just played soothing music for us on our way to our last stop, the Dragon Bridge. We then took photos just on the far side of Dragon Bridge, not right next to it. It was still nice to view it at night because the bridge was changing colours. This was the last stop, and then they dropped us back in our hotels, which was very convenient. I don't regret booking this tour because we were well-looked after by a professional and an accommodating tour guide! 11/10 stars for this experience! Thank you for leaving us with more memories to cherish as a family when we leave Da Nang!
