Great Way to Explore the Everglades - I've been to the Everglades once before this excursion, but when I went the last time, I didn't see any animals and it was really hot. However, this time around, when I returned with my sister and friend, we decided to book a tour with Wild Lime Adventures. We really wanted the opportunity to kayak in the Everglades and learn more about its rich biodiversity with informed guides who really knew the area. Well, we definitely got that! On our tour, we were lucky enough to see manatees, crocodiles (even a juvenile crocodile!), alligators, and more. This is a newer tour they're offering, so we were lucky enough to have three very informed guides, Lindsay, Ryan, and Stacy. You really don't have to worry about bringing any "equipment", since they provide a lot of the necessities. The kayaking portion is not that rigorous and my friend who never kayaked before this didn't have any issues. I wouldn't sweat the small stuff because they really provided a lot of necessities, like a reusable water bottle, water/drinks throughout the trip, snacks, and more. One thing I wanted to point out, our meeting location was at South Tip Farm Stand. Our GPS had us turn into SW 214th Ave, but stay on Ingraham Hwy, you will see a sign for the farm stand. When we got there, they had to open the gate for us.

Successful corporate event thanks to Wild Lime - I cannot recommend Wild Lime enough, especially as someone unfamiliar with South Florida and had to plan a corporate event for a group of 8. Stacy and her team were extremely professional, communicative, hospitable, and took care of absolutely everything from the time I reached out to them (about 2 weeks before the trip), to the week of, the day of, and afterwards. They were very accommodating, picking us up and returning us to our Airbnb in Miami Beach, and it was a pleasure listening to Stacy share her knowledge and passion about the Everglades. Also, I definitely want to mention that Stacy is a very safe and capable driver - she handled a crazy Miami traffic situation perfectly (basically a crazy car switched over 2 lanes and through a median very suddenly and without warning to get to an exist and would have hit us if it weren't for Stacy).

A beautiful day in the magical Everglades - Stacy and Elijah were wonderful guides with incredible knowledge of the wildlife, various ecosystems, history, plant life of the Everglades. They were warm, personable, funny and accommodating throughout our day. Hiking was not too strenuous but we did get more of a welcome workout kayaking to see manatees, crocodiles, beautiful birds and endangered fish. Our family of four thoroughly enjoyed our day.
