Excellent tour. - An afternoon visit to beautiful, historic Richmond is a must. So picturesque & we loved the bridge built by the convicts & the ducks on the grassy banks. Plenty of lovely walks, interesting shops & places to eat especially the bakery.

Cute Village - Richmond Village is cute but there wasn't really enough to do for the time spent there - it was Boxing Day and about half the shops and galleries were closed, even the driver/guide was surprised by how much was closed.

Beautiful town - Richmond is a gorgeous little town. Tea and scones a must ! The only criticism I have is that a lot of the shops closed at 15.30 . We arrived there at around 13.30 visited the jail and after a drink we missed out on some shops and galleries. Perhaps the tour guide can recommend shopping first then go to the jail etc . The tour guide was an amazing !

An opportunity to shop - This is a pretty, small town. The jail (gaol) tour was interesting. But the rest of the tour is to various shops selling items: food, glass, jewelry, wood pieces, etc. So if you’re looking for gifts or souvenirs, this is a good bet. Bring (or purchase) a picnic lunch if it’s a sunny day and sit by the 1825 bridge.
