Historic tour - We had an awesome time with Rod Turton , whose knowledge on Tasmania was second to none ! Very impressive and knowledgeable tour guide . We had booked our trip to Port Arthur and the next day to Mt Wellington! Both were with Rod and he made the trip fun , hubby and me enjoyed it . We will be coming back and will definitely use Gray line tours again and hopefully with Rod again . Thank you Rod ! Mark and Maureen

A great way to see Port Arthur - Its good value for money and Rod is an excellent guide. It's a good combination of guide and being able to do your own thing. Enough time is allowed for everything.

Port Arthur Tour with Harbour Cruise and Tasman National Park - It was a good day, with good inclusions, but I think the itinerary needs a little fine-tuning. We spent only 20 minutes at historic Richmond, 10 minutes of which were taken up by a toilet break, so little time to explore this fascinating town, and because it was so early a lot of the shops were still closed (some had opening times of 10.00am). I think half an hour less at Port Arthur, and half an hour more at Richmond, would be better, and call at Richmond on the way home, to visit when all shops are open. I would also adjust the schedule at Port Arthur, so that the cruise is done first or last, not in the middle, and trekking around all the many buildings and ruins can be accomplished in one block, without having to rush off to the cruise, then resume again afterwards, which is not so time efficient.
