- Richmond - Richmond is a charming historic village just 25 km from Hobart in the scenic Coal River Valley. Rich in colonial history, the town boasts some of Australia’s oldest and most significant heritage sites. Highlights include the renowned Richmond Bridge, built by convicts in 1825 and still in use today, as well as the Richmond Gaol, one of the country’s oldest intact prisons offering a glimpse into early colonial life.
As you wander the village, you’ll encounter beautifully preserved Georgian buildings, antique shops, galleries, cafes, and charming cottages. Richmond is truly a step back in time.

Rosny Hill Lookout - On our return to Hobart, we’ll stop at Rosny Hill Lookout, offering a perfect opportunity to capture stunning photos of the cruise ship docked at the terminal. The lookout’s elevated position provides a unique perspective of the vessel against the backdrop of the city and the river, making it an ideal spot for memorable photographs.
