Perfect afternoon tour out of Hobart. - Our cruise ship was diverted from Port Arthur to Hobart and we found this tour on-line. When we arrived at 12:00 the 1:00 tour was sold out but Tim found an additional vehicle and we were off. Tim was a great tour guide throughout. The Richmond gaol, bridge, and town were great from a historical perspective. The sanctuary was a real jewel. We went to see Tasmanian Devils which we saw in great numbers, but we also saw wombats, rare birds, emus, snakes, and were able to feed and touch the kangaroos that were roaming free. It was also good to know that the facility was staffed with volunteers and all the money was being used for animal rescue and rehabilitation.

Hagan without a doubt is WONDERFUL - Excellent Option!!!! Without a doubt absolutely recommendable, I would say MISSABLE, excellent service, very kind and friendly driver, good quality of transportation, very interesting prison where it is shown what life was like for the inmates of that time...and in the park you can interact with the Kangaroos and see from the Tasmanian Devil to the Wombat. Go without a doubt, it is one of the best experiences you will surely have in your life!!!!

Bonorong was Terrific - Evan was our driver, and in addition to being fun and funny, he was quite knowledgeable about what we were seeing. We loved Bonorong, and he took us several other places, too. We would go on another Gray Line tour in a heartbeat . . . and we did!

Tassie Devils - We went to see the Tassie Devils as this was one animal we had not seen before. The view was great and we were close to the animals - others to were interesting.

Outstanding wildlife preserve - A fantastic place where animals are cared for and rehabilitated! Wonderful people, the 'feeding frenzy' tour was an amazing spectacle, feeding most of the meat eaters, including the Tasmanian devil. I highly recommend this place!!

An afternoon we'll spent - Small bus, so not a massive group, which was good and a chatty driver. An hour or so exploring Richmond, a quaint town with a good ice cream shop! Then, to the wildlife sanctuary to see Tasmanian Devils and echidna. Sadly, the wombats were asleep after a hard day of being looked at. Lots of kangaroos to hand feed and knowledgable guide for the included talk. Worth the trip.

Must do if you are short on time - Lovely seeing the small quaint village of Richmond, the gaol and the oldest bridge in Australia. Bonorong caters to injured native animals, fed the kangaroos and lorikeets by hand. Phil, the driver was full of information and stories and kept all regaled with his wit.

Tassie wildlife - Fun to mingle with the kangaroos Should realize that there are no koalas (as pictured) in Tasmania. Also beware the viator emails since they gave inaccurate information about the pickup location.
