Ho Chi Minh City - Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, a local guide and driver will warmly welcome and pick you up.

You will then be transferred to your hotel for check-in. The remainder of the first day is yours to explore the city at your leisure.

Full Day Tour of Ho Chi Minh City

The Independence Palace - Your first stop is the historic Reunification Palace (also known as the Independence Palace), a must-see landmark for visitors to Ho Chi Minh City. This site served as the residence and office of the South Vietnamese President during the Vietnam War.

War Remnants Museum - Next, you will visit the War Remnants Museum (or History Museum), which documents the images and stories of the Vietnam War, also known as the US War in Vietnam.

After leaving the museum, you will head to admire the French architectural style at the Notre Dame Cathedral and Saigon Central Post Office. These are two popular spots for tourists to enjoy the city’s beautiful sights. Additionally, you can immerse yourself in the local culture by enjoying a drink (iced tea) at the cathedral and listening to stories from the locals nearby. Lunch will be at a local restaurant (Pho 2000).

Ba Thien Hau Temple - After lunch and a brief rest, you will visit other city highlights, such as Giac Lam Pagoda, Thien Hau Pagoda in bustling Saigon’s Chinatown or Cho Lon (Big Market), and Ben Thanh Market. You can purchase souvenirs for family and friends at the market.

Ho Chi Minh - My Tho - Cai Be - Vinh Long

Mekong Delta - NOTE: My Tho - Sadec (Monday / Wednesday / Friday) and Sadec - My Tho (Tuesday / Thursday / Saturday)

After breakfast, you will be driven to the Mekong Pier to board the L’AMANT boat. The boat will take you upstream to Cai Be. Enjoy the beauty of the mighty Mekong River with its peaceful and stunning landscapes along the riverbanks. Lunch will be served on the boat before the afternoon activities begin.

Cai Be Floating Market - In the early afternoon, after a satisfying lunch, you will board a local sampan boat to navigate through Cai Be’s Floating Market and row through the numerous canals. Along the way, you will be captivated by the breathtaking scenery of the Mekong Delta.

You will disembark to visit an ancient colonial house and a traditional local rice popcorn factory. In the village, you can also sample some typical local specialties.

Vinh Long - In the afternoon, you will have the perfect opportunity to enjoy the stunning sunset from the boat’s sundeck. Keep your camera ready to capture these beautiful scenes.

The boat will anchor near Vinh Long (after My Thuan Bridge) for the night.

Enjoy a delightful dinner on the boat and a peaceful evening with two movies shown on board, “L’Amant” or “Indochine.” You will stay overnight on the L’AMANT.

Vinh Long - Sa Dec

Sa Dec - After breakfast, the tour continues as you head to Sa Dec.

Upon arrival, you will disembark from the L’AMANT boat to board a local boat.

You will be taken to Sa Dec town, where the renowned French writer Marguerite Duras spent her childhood. Here, you will have the chance to see and learn about various types of flowers and bonsai plants.

Huynh Thuy Le Ancient House - Next, you will visit the ancient house of Huynh Thuy Le (or the “house of the Chinese”), featured in Marguerite Duras’ novel “L’Amant.” You will also visit a Chinese temple and the tomb of “L’Amant.” Finally, you will stop at the school where Marguerite’s mother taught and the house where she lived with her children.

On the return journey, you will have the opportunity to explore the lively street market of the town.

The fourth day’s tour concludes around 11:00 am. You will then have lunch and rest before returning to your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City at 3:00 pm.

Ho Chi Minh - Da Lat

Da Lat - After breakfast, enjoy some free time until you are transferred to Tan Son Nhat International Airport for a one-hour flight to Da Lat.

Upon arrival at Da Lat airport, a local guide and driver will greet and pick you up. You will be driven to your hotel for check-in.

The rest of the day is yours to explore the city, savor delicious local cuisine, or shop at your own pace.

Dalat - Nha Trang

Nha Trang - After breakfast at the hotel, you will be driven to Nha Trang, a journey of approximately three hours.

Upon arrival, you will check into your hotel.

After a short rest, you are free to explore and enjoy the city, including local cuisine and shopping.

Nha Trang City & Island

Tri Nguyen Aquarium - After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to Tri Nguyen Aquarium on Mieu Island, where you can see and learn about hundreds of unique marine creatures.

Next, you will visit the Institute of Oceanography, where you can discover the largest collection of specimens and living creatures in Southeast Asia.

XQ Hand Embroidery - The tour continues with a visit to the XQ embroidery gallery/workshop to admire beautiful hand embroidery masterpieces and learn how to create a small project yourself.

Afterward, you will take a short break at Chong Promontory, an area resembling the work of a giant who placed massive rocks together.

Po Nagar Cham Towers - The evening program begins with a visit to the Cham Po Nagar Towers, masterpieces honoring the Mother of the Cham Kingdom. These towers are well-preserved and still serve as places of worship for the Cham people. Please remember to remove your shoes before entering the towers.

Dam Market - You will then leave the temple for Dam Market, widely recognized as a major trade center in Nha Trang.

Departure from Nha Trang

Nha Trang - Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. The rest of the morning is yours to pack, relax, shop, or continue sightseeing before being driven to the airport for your departure.
