- War Remnants Museum - Visitors may include veterans seeking to reflect on the past and find solace, family members learning about the sacrifices of previous generations, or history enthusiasts. Museums are ideal for fulfilling these interests, offering a collection of significant artifacts that provide valuable insights and visuals of the country’s and local region’s wartime history.
- The Independence Palace - Also known as Reunification Palace, this is one of the most renowned historic sites in Ho Chi Minh City (locally known as Saigon). It has stood as a witness to the events of two intense wars against French and American colonists, leading to the end of the Vietnam War and the reunification of the country. Visitors can enjoy lunch at a local restaurant after their visit.
- Saigon Notre Dame Cathedral - Known as Nha Tho Duc Ba Saigon or Saigon Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica, it majestically stands at Number 1 Cong Truong Cong Xa Paris Street, directly opposite the Saigon Central Post Office. It is just across 30-4 Park from Reunification Palace and diagonally across from Diamond Plaza. Note: The Notre-Dame Cathedral is currently under restoration, so travelers can only take photos from the outside.
- Central Post Office - Located in downtown Ho Chi Minh City, near the Saigon Notre-Dame Basilica, the city’s cathedral, this post office was built during the late 19th century when Vietnam was part of French Indochina, designed by Alfred Foulhoux. Inside, two notable painted maps created shortly after the post office’s construction can be found. The first, on the left side of the building, is a map of Southern Vietnam and Cambodia titled “Lignes télégraphiques du Sud Vietnam et Cambodge 1892.” The second map, of greater Saigon, is titled “Saigon et ses environs 1892.”
- Cu Chi Tunnels - The Cu Chi Tunnels of Saigon are celebrated among the TOP 7 most adventurous destinations in Southeast Asia and the TOP 12 most fascinating underground wonders globally. This decades-old tunnel complex resembles an intricate hidden maze, offering visitors a glimpse into Vietnam’s turbulent history, as if traveling back to wartime.
