Built over several years, these tunnels extended over 250 kilometers and included various layers such as living quarters, kitchens, meeting rooms, hospitals, and even schools. The tunnels were manually excavated using basic tools like shovels, hoes, and picks, with the excavated soil discreetly hidden in nearby fields to prevent detection.
