A nice tour with many features - A nice hiking in a mountain featuring a great shrine. We received some historical explanations and fun facts and did some activities, like a very appreciated tea ceremony after the hiking with some treats.

There was a healing place right near Hiroshima station! - We met at Hiroshima station at 7:30 and walked to Toshogu Shrine, which is a 10-minute walk away. Hearing about the history of Toshogu Shrine and its hidden secrets, we started tracking it. There are seven shrines dedicated to the gods of advancement, moxibustion, health and money. There was a Buddha sariras tower at the top, and Hiroshima city was very beautiful from here. After that, experience using your senses. It is something I use every day, but by concentrating on one thing again, there was something new to hear and see. At the end, we made matcha and had a look around Hiroshima city. That's when Dr. Yellow unexpectedly passes! It was a great experience!

- Michi was an absolutely fantastic guide. She was so friendly and knowledgeable and we felt that she genuinely loved being a guide. The tour itself was great, but our highlights have to be the tea ceremony with Hiroshima as a back drop and forest bathing which was a first for us.

A Beautiful and Comprehensive Hike through History and Culture of Hiroshima - This was such a special tour of Mt Futaba and Hiroshima! Our guide Stephanie was warm, personable, and very knowledgeable about the events, traditions, and culture of Hiroshima throughout various periods of Japanese history. The hike was beautiful and Stephanie made sure to let us stop often to learn, experience, and take many photos. She led us through a beautiful forest meditation in which we were able to rely on our senses and connect with the forest, and she ended the hike with a lovely tea ceremony in which she even taught us how to prepare our own matcha. The climb was not very strenuous, but was very beautiful and very informative. Thank you so much again, Stephanie!

I didn't know Hiroshima. - I have lived in Hiroshima for a long time, but I didn’t know that Hiroshima Toshogu Shrine and other historical spots are within my living area… Thanks to the guidance of Mr. Wakabayashi, our knowledgeable and energizing guide, and Mr. Kotani, who has delicious tea and thoughtfulness, we had a good time! This tour is recommended for all kinds of people inside and outside the prefecture!

Good shrine tea times - Our guide Nana was knowledgeable and kind. She led us on a hike up a mountain path of shrines, ending at a Buddhist relic. Along the way, she guided us through Shinto practices and explained their meanings. She even helped translate our names into Kanji! We ended with an activity to help us contemplate nature, and a lovely tea ceremony overlooking the city. Highly recommend!

An experience that blends in naturally. - I went alone. The goal was nodate, but more than that, it was a great time to be able to blend in with nature such as trees and forests. I had lived in Hiroshima, but there were many things I didn't know, and it was a day of new discoveries. I recommend it.

Time freed from everyday life. There are so many things that modern people need! - It was a pleasant day with no hot weather and a nice breeze. Since I don't usually exercise much, I was worried about my physical strength, but he always took photos of my breaks and there were many guides so I could walk moderately. There were many things I had never known about living in Hiroshima and many new discoveries. I think it is a program that Hiroshima residents should definitely experience. I was able to learn how to relate to nature and enjoy it, and I wanted to participate in this event with my children. I was able to have Nodate at the most scenic place, and I almost lost track of time. I was usually quite busy, and I felt a pleasant sense of liberation that I had let go of it. I would love to be a part of it again!
