Commenting on our Guide Sei - Viator asked for this review and It does not appear that it is "Guide Specific" so all I can do is comment on our guide Sei..a totally dedicated and competitive guide. He is passionate about the goal of world peace with good English. It was fine with us but be prepared for several miles of level walking even though there was a bus ride and a trolley ride.

Hiroshi’s tour - We met Hiroshi right outside the port. He was already there and waiting. A taxi ride later we were in Hiroshima to see the Peace Dome, Museum, Axis of Peace and other local sights. An amazing amount of detail with a file of photos and fantastic knowledge of everything about August 6th, 1945 including family involvement. Hiroshi gave us an amazing tour, including a visit to a hotel coffee shop where the coffee was brewed in almost laboratory equipment, such as glass flasks and burners. Never seen this before, and the coffee was excellent. A great tour full of interesting facts and sights in amazing detail given by an incredibly knowledgeable, friendly guide. The tour ended with Hiroshi returning us to the port where he gave us some gifts to remind us of our tour.

Must-do in Hiroshima! - I traveled to Hiroshima with my world politics obsessed 12 year old. We wanted to be able to have deep dive into Hiroshima's history and evolution, so we chose to book this tour. Within a few days, we were assigned to Kay (Keiko) as our guide. Kay was a gem from start to finish. She was regularly touching base from a few days prior to our booking date to confirm the meeting point details, as well as the rough itinerary for the tour. We found Kay to be well informed about Hiroshima's imperial past, about the 1945 bombing, and about its evolution in contemporary times. Even though Hiroshima is easily doable in a self-guided manner, I highly recommend booking this tour for your visit to Hiroshima to really get the most of your visit to such an important city in Japan's and the world's history.

Very sweet - Erika was so great about checking in with us well in advance and letting us know how the cherry blossoms were going. She got our TKTS to the museum in advance so we had no waiting. She was a delight.

2025-04-18 - Hiroshima City 4hr Private Walking Tour with Yuko - Had the most informative tour of the history of Hiroshima. Our tour guide Yuko was very friendly, kind and interactive that my daughter and I learnt so much. Yuko contacted me days before the tour to ensure I was ok with our meeting location and she was happy to answer any of my questions before arriving. She did ask if I wanted to cover anything specific in the tour but I left the itinerary completely in her hands. She was prompt and ready to collect me as I exited the station on my arrival. Yuko did a fantastic job of covering so much in the time we had and we finished right on time. Thoroughly enjoyed our time with Yuko, she is a superb tour guide. 100% recommended, you will not be disappointed. Thank you so much for your incredible knowledge Yuko!
