A beautiful sunset experience. - We took the Sunset Cruise in May with all our family in Hilton Head for a reunion. We had ages from 2 through 73. Everyone had a wonderful time. Once the boat was away from the dock, we could walk around the different levels. Saw lots of dolphin in the inlet and the captian piloting the boat was knowledgeable of dolphins. The sunset was beautiful. Snacks, drinks, including wine and beer were available to purchase.

Lovely cruise - The food was really good. The salad & chicken was delicious! However, the chicken has a spicy sauce on it that I loved. Others may not.

Perfect Date Night - For our 2 year anniversary dinner, this was the best choice we made. Not only did you get a delicious 3 course meal and amazing drinks on a 2 hour trip, you even got to see dolphins. Our server Carlie was super nice and helpful and made our experience that much more pleasant. The music was great which gave off a nice beachy/cruise vibe and was low enough that my partner and I were able to whisper our conversations and still hear what each other says. The captain also made sure to bring the boat to a location where we could see the sun set despite some lingering clouds from rain earlier in the day. We would highly recommend anyone who wants to go on a nice outing with a dinner to book this cruise.

The meal was delicious... - The meal was delicious especially the salad. For those who do not like any spicy heat, the rubs or salsa had a bit too much heat. Some felt the heat was just right though. Key lime and chocolate cake were both delicious.

Awful food - Cons: The food is awful. We chose the Mai Mai blackened. It was too dry and over cooked and completely inedible. The mashed potatoes were gummy. The broccoli was overcooked and unseasoned. Our salt and pepper shaker had a black crud in them. The furniture is from the 1980s and crammed in. Pros: The staff, and crew were spectacular. The Captain was talented. Summary: The price is high because of the harbor fees per person on top of the cruise price, plus a $9 entrance fee. Alcohol beverages are not included, so the night for two will cost more than $200 per couple. My suggestion is enjoy a dinner elsewhere and take a regular sunset cruise.

Pretty sights not so great food - The crew were very nice. We were able to see some dolphins and pretty sights along the way. The meal was disappointing, only water included to drink. For the price point, I would expect at least ice tea to be included. The salad was good, but I would have preferred a different salad dressing. I had the chicken entree and my husband had the pork loin both were mediocre at best. The desserts were excellent, I had the key lime pie and my husband had the chocolate torte. There was no commentary as we sailed. On other tour’s landmarks and wildlife would be pointed out as you go. The experience was lacking for the money. I would not do this tour again.

A disappointing experience. Was really looking forward to a great time. - Disappointed! Celebrating my husband's birthday. Firt I want to say the crew and Captain Robin were great. She even came down to say Happy birthday to my husband. BUT we dined inside and the windows were VERY DIRTY, lots of water stains making the views not so great. I know water splashes up on windows and they cannot wash them every day, but it looks like it had been quite awhile since they were cleaned. No fault of the cruise, but there was a large 2 table party seated behind us and they were VERY LOUD. They ruined the experience for all the others trying to have a nice couples or small group gathering. I wish the staff could have done something to quiet them down, but that is not their job. The boat ride was nice and enjoyable. About the last 20 minutes they turned on all the interior lights and it was like being in a nice low light room and suddently you have blinding lights turned on in the interior. They needed to clear tables, get paid for options, etc and I think I heard someone say they do that so that the boat can be seen in the dark. However the boat has lights all around the outside, so it is hard to miss in the dark. Because of the bright lights, you could not see outside anymore in the dark which would have been nice to see the lights and lighthouse coming back into the Harbour Town Marina. The speaker system on the interior main level is not working well as we could not hear a thing. Some of that was due to the loud party behind us but also I think the speakers are not great on the main floor. So moral of the story, if the weather looks good and not too windy OPT for dining on the upper level. It is covered and I did see plastic window covering should it rain, etc. But at least your views will be CLEAR, you can hear the Captain talk and I assume they did not have bright white lights on during the last 20 minutes of the cruise.

Not worth the money - Disappointing. We chose inside seating which was good because it did rain. But cold a/c and dirty windows, so no good views. Leaving at 7pm meant the sun was almost set already. No dolphins (seems unlikely based on where the boat traveled). Drinks we got were awful, bitter, cheap alcohol?, salad was good, entrees were not great. Lukewarm, pasta was dry and bland; pork was tough, mashed potatoes were instant. Desserts were both good. Overall, definitely not worth the $$$, even with promo rates. We also had to return early due to weather and no compensation for that.

Not worth the money - The crew was first rate and boat was clean. We sat on upper deck and had a very LOUD group of 14 that have no idea how to use inside voices. The crew said there was nothing they could do about it…..and then gave them a microphone! The food….salad and dessert (key lime pie) were delicious, but the main courses were disappointing. Not served hot, fish and pork loin were both overcooked and pasta primavera had so little sauce it was like eating plain pasta. If this is Sea Pines cooking, guess we can rule out a future dinner there. Lots of better options on HHI. Cannot recommend this cruise to anybody except maybe large rude groups who don’t care what they eat. Thankfully, our cruise was cut short by weather so we didn’t have to put up with the noise for the entire 2 hours.
