Great Cultural Experience - Our tour guide Tao was awesome. I would recommend him for everyone. Tao was fun, great personality and the information he gave was very cultural. I would definitely encourage tourist to go on this trip excursion and if you get Tao you will definitely have a great time and enjoy your excursion.

The cultural tour was... - The cultural tour was amazing! Robinson was fantastic, super good energy, made everyone feel welcome and excited! We got to do experience so many things and super cool to see Dominican culture! Very memorable!

Terrific! - Darwin was our guide and we think that this tour was the highlight of our trip. As people who like to travel and rarely do resorts our goal is to experience a country. We felt like we were able to do this on this tour. Darwin answered all our questions took us to a market where we saw no other tourists and was probably our favorite part of the tour. The lunch was the best meal we had all week. We highly recommend taking this tour and seeing the country. We felt completely safe at all times and this tour was cheaper than the one our resort was offering with more included.

Really interesting & fun excursion around Dominican Republic. We learned so much. - This adventure was amazing. Our guide Teo explained so much to us and we were never rushed. 1st we rode horses. Then we went to the Basilica of Higuey. After that we did some local shopping including the local food market /stalls. We had a Dominican lunch at a spot above a river. Then coffee and cacao tasting with a family in the countryside. Teo was so knowledgeable showing us the fruit on the trees and when and how it is ripe. We finished the tour at a cigar factory when we each rolled a cigar after watching an expert. Thank you Teo!

Great Tour - We enjoyed this cultural tour. Our guide Mike was great. We did so much in the half day tour. Luckily we were in a small group of 6 (4 was our family).

I recommend this tour. - Teo was a wonderful tour guide and took care of our group. Highly recommend this tour to experience the country life of DR, outside of the resort bubble.

Amazing tour/tour guide - To start off we had such an amazing tour guide named Theo who was very attentive, kind, and knowledgeable of the area. Was quick to reply to messages of any questions I had prior to the tour and during the tour knew the answers to any of my questions. We started off with a pickup at a meeting point of choice followed by the ride to our first stop which was the horseback riding! Here we had a chance for horseback riding where the horses were kind with an amazing view. Next we continued our tour to the basilica where we were able to enter and take a moment to admire the amazing cathedral. After this we made our way to the local market of Higuey where we were able to stop to buy souvenirs, try mamajuana and take a walk around the market. After this was lunch time where it was a self serve meal which was honestly amazing. I was unsure of what to expect as a picky eater but was amazed of the quality of the food, the fruit, and drinks that were provided. This lunch was by the river which had a beautiful view. We soon made our last stops to the cocoa and cigar areas. Where we learned about how pure chocolate is made and how cigars are packaged where we got to try the cocoa, a free cigar, and see how cigars are packaged. Our last stop was to the Macoa beach which honestly was the most beautiful beach I have seen. I highly recommend this tour if you are in search of wanting to see the real DR.

Never picked up - We were supposed to get picked up at 7am from our hotel. There was zero communication from them, even after I reached out twice. We woke up early and headed to the lobby for pickup. After an hour wait and 2 more calls to the company, they never showed and we cancelled the tour. No explanations were ever given as to why they were running late or never showed. Hopefully they will refund me.
