Highlights
  • Parque Provincial Aconcagua - We will pick you up very early in the morning at your accommodation. One hour from the city we will find the first mountain villages: Cacheuta and its hot springs is ideal to relax, Villa Potrerillos with its artisans and its privileged view of the dam is a charming place to stay but we have to go on!
Continuing the course of the Mendoza River we will arrive to Uspallata, a tourist town with a lot of history and great gastronomic offerings. Then we will visit one of the most amazing geological formations: the Puente del Inca, a natural monument included in the Andean road system known as Camino del Inca.
After a few photos in this incredible place, we will continue on our way to the Aconcagua Provincial Park. After the welcome, our guide will give you the necessary information and precautions to take into account for the trekking.
If you choose to walk to the Quebrada del Durazno take appropriate clothing because it will be approximately 2 hours in total with a moderate difficulty. If you decide to walk to the Mirador the path is easier and in 45 minutes you will be back, if you don’t get paralyzed in front of the imposing 6,962 meters of the giant of America.

Spectacular! - The rigged scenery and views were amazing, and the drive into the hike was one of the most picturesque I’ve ever seen. The hike itself is not difficult at about 2.5km each way. Our guide (Pablo) was a tremendous host, very thoughtful to our needs, and the pace to which we wanted to travel, hike, stop for pictures, food, etc. While incredibly experienced he was also humble and also very patient with us. Can’t say enough about our guide and the great service we received from SAK. We also used them for a wine tour, which was also spectacular.
