Much More Than Expected!! - Our group had a wonderful time with Min!! She's a great chef and has a great sense of humour. Our cooking class and meal were MUCH more than expected and included a foot and shoulder massage prior to cooking! We liked touring the fields and learning about their organic farming methods as well as helping a (very) little bit. Min has already sent us her recipes and we look forward to cooking them at home in Colorado. We HIGHLY recommend Lemon Basil and especially Min!!!!

Family day trip - One of the best cooking classes we have done. So authentic and the staff were so helpful and friendly! Was an authentic experience. We got to eat our meal which we all enjoyed and were so satisfied after our veggie gardening, and boat ride!

Highly recommend! Unforgettable adventure in Hoi An - I had an incredible experience on this tour with Min. We ventured by bike from town to the coconut forest for basket boat rides. Cycling was a great way to take in the scenic views of the fields. The cooking class was a highlight- it was very interactive and a fantastic way to learn more about Central Vietnamese cuisine. We made spring rolls, papaya salad, fish in clay pot and Vietnamese pancakes - all were very delicious! The instructions were clear and the team’s warmth and guidance made the class even more enjoyable. Learning to carve animals and flowers out of vegetables was a delightful touch! Min also took us on a tour of their farm in front of the restaurant, where we observed their organic farming practices and even tried to plant seedlings and water crops ourselves. The herbal foot massage was a great way to end the tour. Min is very kind and accommodating and made our day very special. I would highly recommend this activity to anyone visiting Hoi An!

The hidden gem of Hoi An - Honestly one of our favourite days in Vietnam for the whole family (2 x adults, 2 x 13 year olds). Kent our host created a brilliant itinerary for us - of which a perfect amount of time was allocated to visit his family at Lemon Basil. The whole family have such a positive vibe, so welcoming and happy … we could have stayed longer listening and learning from them! The cooking class with Jessica was perfectly organised, professional and delicious. The lunch was fabulous and catered to include a non fish eater which was really appreciated. We then walked around the farm, helped with some planting and watering …. And then finished with a shoulder and foot massage! Just wonderful! The farm is so peaceful, beautiful and a must visit. We really hope to return :)

Excellent half day activity - Excellent tour, Jessica met us at our hotel with bikes (and a suitable size for our 10 Yr old) then headed off to the local market for food shopping. We were introduced to lots of different fruit and vegetables, all fascinating, (the local Hoi An mango is out of this world) then biked approx 15 mins out to the countryside to the family farm and cooking school. Joined in some farming/gardening techniques then a little massage in the shade and then the cooking began. Come hungry since we could barely finish all we cooked, despite it being some of the best food we've had in Vietnam! As a family of 5 this one one of the best things we've done on our trip around Vietnam, we can't recommend them highly enough. And at the end of our meal, feeling too hot to bike back Jessica kindly organised a taxi back to our hotel. Nothing was too much trouble.

Biking, Basket Boating, Farming, Cooking, and Massages, too! - This tour was fabulous. It took quite a while (maybe 5-6 hours?). We biked from our hotel to the basket boating area where we got a ride on the boats and treated to a show on the water. Then we rode to the farm where we were treated to a shoulder, neck, and foot massage before we got a tour of the farm, where we actually got to do some plowing and watering. As we inhaled the fragrance of things like mint and cilantro, I realized that fresh herbs never smelled so good. Then came the best part, we go to cook a (four- or five-course) meal. And we ate all the food we cooked. Afterward, we biked back to the hotel, exhausted and full! P.S. I have a torn miniscus in my right knee and could not do the lengthy biking, so my family members rode while I got to ride alongside in a car. So, that option is available if you can't bike!
