Additional Information

MARBLE MOUNTAINS, also known as Ngu Hanh Son, is the group of five hills, made of limestone and marble. They look like 5 fingers lying close to the sea. There are several caves, caverns, pagodas, many stairs and 2 spectacular viewing points. They are also home to several Buddhist sanctuaries and Hindu grottoes which are much visited places of worship for the local population. The Marble Mountain has become one of the must-see destinations for those who enjoy the beauty of nature and want a respite from the busy urban areas.
At the foot of the mountains there is a traditional marble fine art village which is over 300 years old. You will admire its talented craftsmen, their creativity and their uniquely beautiful works.

MONKEY MOUNTAIN, also known as Son Tra, which is home to the beautiful, marble statue of the Lady Buddha that can be seen from all along the Da Nang beach front.
Here you can enjoy the serenity of this sacred place as well as the beautiful view of the Da Nang coastline.

Marble mountain - Loved the marble mountain cave tour. Lots of steps but well worth the effort. Guide was very friendly and knowledgeable.

Great way to start your day. - Michael was funny, entertaining, knowledgeable, and spoke English fluently. Monkey Mountain had beautiful views, and Lady Buddha was a sign to be reckoned with. The caves (heaven and hell) were magical and should not be missed when visiting Danang.

Marble mountain - Fab place to visit.. Lots of stops but very interesting and some lovely sights. Cave areas were huge. It was very busy when we went at around eleven. Go early or afternoon and it's a lot quieter.

Thanks Michael - Our guide Michael was great! He explained things well, helped take lots of pictures, and was very friendly and professional. The tour was as explained, wasn’t too long, and would recommend to other when in the area. Was able to see a lot in a short amount of time while also having an authentic Vietnamese lunch in Da Nang.

Not to be missed! - We had a couple of hours here but you could spend a whole day, as there is so much to see! Amazing pagodas & gardens, spectacular views, and the caves with the carved Buddhas were just breathtaking!

Worth the visit. It's not unmissable. - To be honest, I almost didn't take this trip. It seemed boring to me from the videos I saw on the internet. I went at the last minute and actually found it to be a more interesting visit than I expected. We went very early at 7 am and it was very empty and quiet. That helped. The place was very pleasant.

Visit Lady Buddha, Am Phu Cave, Marble Mountains and Monkey Mountain. - Visiting the temple in the Am Phu cave and the many steps to get there was very tiring, especially as it was a very hot day. You should be fit to manage this. Important: wear sturdy shoes! There is an elevator, but the wait is very long. On the day we visited, it was over an hour. Visit to the Female or Lady Buddha and Monkey Mountains was good, but the visit to the marble shop was unnecessary in my opinion. We went to a restaurant for lunch. There was noodle soup here, which was OK, just a little bit small.
