- Step 1: Select and iron the silk.
- Step 2: Apply glue to 4 stakes and let it dry until tacky.
- Step 3: Place the silk on the stakes and carefully stretch it. Once the silk is correctly positioned, press it onto the glue.
- Step 4: Repeat the silk application until the lantern is covered.
- Step 5: Cover the top and base of the hanger with strips of silk.
- Step 6: Choose a tassel for the base of the lantern.
- Step 7: Practice opening and closing your lantern and pack it to take home.
