Fun Activities: Lantern making, delectable food, and basket boat ride - Highly recommend this fun experience! Our punctual driver seamlessly transported us (family of 3) from our hotel in Hoi An to the lantern-making session, then to Coconut village, the enchanting Chef Tram's place. Amidst an idyllic garden backdrop with lanterns adorning the surroundings, we relished delectable Thai cuisine tailored to our dietary preferences. Chef Tram thoughtfully accommodated one vegetarian and one peanut-sensitive diner. Following this culinary delight, a picturesque pathway led us to a dock where basket boats awaited. The serene sunset cruise in the basket boat, coupled with a delightful crab-fishing endeavor, made this adventure truly memorable.

10/10 for this tour - This was one of my favorite tours Picked up on time...taken to a latern making course which was great Very pleased with my latern and it folds for the suitcase Then to my guides home...basket boat riding...thrilling and so much fun ( I'm in my late 60s) Music playing people clapping everyone smiling Then my guide cooked me a wonderful lunch with ingredients that she had purchased fresh from the market that morning She explained all the ingredients and cooked right in front of me demonstrating great technique Book this tour you won't be disappointed

Great family fun - Slightly away from the main tourist area we felt we had a more authentic experience. Started off making Lanterns which the whole family enjoyed followed by a boat ride and crab fishing which is touristy but the kids enjoyed. Lastly we were treated to amazing and very generous home made Vietnamese lunch. Tram was a wonderful host and the whole day ran smoothly from pick up to drop off.

Wonderful experience - We had a lovely time, making the lanterns was super fun and relaxing, the ladies that helped us very friendly. We then had an amazing late afternoon lunch which Cham (not sure how to spell) made for us at her own house. She was a wonderful host and the food was truly delicious. We were then accompanied to the round boats. Our children caught some crabs and had fun. For us the boat part was a little too touristy as there were many tourists going up and down the river, it felt a little odd. But the boat captains did their best to provide us with a nice ride. All in all would definitely recommend!

Hoi An Lantern Making, Basket Boats, Crab Fishing, & Lunch - Tram's experience was our favorite of the trip! We started out at a simple local shop learning how to make traditional lanterns. There were so many fabric choices and the instructor was very clear and made sure we fully understood the process. The lanterns even fold up nicely so you can travel with them easily. Thr basket boat ride was hosted through a smaller organization, and felt more authentic and calm. We had the chance to ride in the boat on the river, see the banana trees, go crab fishing from the boat, take a spin on another boat (optional for small extra fee), and cast a crab fishing net. Umbrellas were included and only our feet got wet (no need for dry bags, extra clothes). Other companies had LOTS of people and it felt authentic. This tour was perfect if you like a smaller group and more experiences. We then went to Tram's restaurant and had THE BEST meal! Wow! I am still thinking about how delicious it was. One of those meals that we will not forget. She was even kind enough to send us the recipes so that we can try at home. There are cars to drive you between each step, but no souvenir/pushy tour guides. Simply local residents who provide a window into Hoi An's traditions and culture. Thank you so much, Tram! We highly reccomend and would love the chance to come back again. 🤗
