Before this period, there was here also traces of Champa port which was known as a site on Silk Road along the sea. A wonderful tour of Hoi An! - This tour was so much fun. It was great having the tour start at 3 pm, so we were there for the lighting of all of the lanterns. Hoi An is absolutely magical at night. We had the best time walking the city, eating and drinking in the city and going on a boat ride. Ty, our tour guide, made special arrangements with boat to take us on an extra long boat ride. The tour did not include dinner, but we were having such a great time we wanted to stay in Hoi An for dinner. Ty was so accommodating. He picked a wonderful restaurant for us to dine at and Ty and our driver took us back to our hotel in Da Nang when we were finished. Ty also ran into Andy who came up to meet us at the restaurant. Is was great to meet Andy and to thank him for heading up such a great tour company. I highly recommend using Andy's tours the next time you are in Vietnam.

A wonderful learning experience - We were lucky enough to have Andy organise us a half day tour of Hoi An and small villages to experience the real Viet lifestyle. Rice paper making, boat building, sleep mat weaving, farming and fishing. Only booked late the night prior, the tour was first class. Picked up from our hotel, a knowledgeable guide Mr Lee showed us the highlights, flexible in the experience given everyone’s prep for the Lunar New Year. We were then able to enjoy a walking tour of Old Hoi An, finishing the tour in a restaurant trying the local foods. Highly recommended.
