Itinerary:
Step away from the charming city of Hoi An for an adventure into the Thu Bon river Delta. Traverse the irrigation pathways, dikes, and rural roads, taking in the view of the landscape and observing local lifestyle.
Enroute, we’ll take a pause at the Kim Bong carpentry village, where we’ll witness the creation of boats, ships, and furniture.
Next, we drop by a local household where you can learn the craft of sleeping mat weaving and experience firsthand the making of rice paper.
We then resume our journey through the countryside to further immerse ourselves in local life. A stop at a local coffeehouse allows for some downtime and a coffee break.
At our next stop – Coco-nut village – you have the option to float on the river in a traditional bamboo basket boat and join the locals in catching purple crabs.
A meal made from local produce at a local household will be arranged before returning to the hotel.
