Wonderful countryside tour of Hoi An - We have just finished this countryside tour with Tommy after we were recommended to use his service. This was a fabulous half day tour through the culture and countryside of Vietnam. Authentic experiences in peoples villages making rice noodles and pottery, riding buffalo and coconut boats. Tommy had very good English, was knowledgeable and made the tour lots of fun and a wonderful experience for our family. Thank you Tommy!

April county side - Thanks Tommy we had an awesome day! Started the day a bit earlier due to the heat but still got everything done no rushing. Tommy’s English and knowledge is excellent and his car is fantastic. We went to pottery rice paper making and water buffalo ride. The included lunch was also delicious.

Awesome Tour - My girlfriend and I were lucky enough to be hosted by Tommy himself. His new Ford Everest was a special touch with comfortable transportation and a well working air conditioner much need in the summer heat. He is an absolute gentleman and his english is very good. He suggested that we start the tour an hour earlier than expected to beat the heat, fantastic idea! Lunch and beer was included in the price as well, very good value for money. Excellent service from Tommy! - Tommy was brilliant to work with ahead of our Vietnam trip and helped me to plan out activities. His communication was excellent and he’s very reliable. We had the pleasure to meet Tommy when he took our family on a wonderful Hoi An countryside tour where we got to enjoy riding a water buffalo, going down a river in a small boat, making our own pottery and learning how to make rice noodles. Wonderful way to get the local flavor of the countryside of Hoi An - Wow, what a fantastic time we had with Tommy visiting several villages in the Hoi An countryside on the last day of our trip. We visited a pottery village (and tried our hand at it ourselves), learned how to make rice noodles, watched how silk is made, rode a water buffalo (a highlight for my son), and of course, did a basket boat ride in the Water Coconut Forest. Other than the basket boat ride (which was pretty packed with tourists), we rarely saw another tourist, which was a bit like getting to hang out with our guide's friends in the villages surrounding Hoi An - my favorite way to explore a new area. Tommy was great with my kids (ages 12 and 10) and recommended swapping out a farm visit to see how rice noodles are made instead, which was both interesting and fun. We ended our half day tour with a delicious pho lunch by the river. An extra and unexpected bonus - Tommy took photos throughout the morning and sent them to me afterwards, so I actually have some photos with me in them! Don't hesitate to book with Tommy Dao tours. We added an airport transfer to Danang the next day. The price was just right and the cars were super modern and clean. We love Vietnam and its people!

Five star service - As usual, great service from Tommy Dao. Lovely clean vehicles. Was waiting at the airport ready to pick me up. Utilising his services for my stay here. Having done all Tommy's tours before, I would definitely recommend his company, particularly his countryside tour and My Son tour.

Fun tour with great lunch - My mother, sister-in-law and niece came back from this tour raving about their experience. I was so bummed that I wasn't able to go with them. They had a lot of fun on the tour and Tommy is a great host. The lunch was really good. Would definitely recommend anyone to book with Tommy.

Fun happy tour! - We were picked up in a luxury minibus @ hotel and first stop was pottery wheel - where we attempted to make a pot! Next stop riding water buffalo then having a go at farming with a hilarious lady farmer, she was brimming with energy & laughter, then a boat trip on the round boats followed by local lunch. Would not hesitate in choosing Tommy again if I’m back in Vietnam …

Friendly and professional - What an amazing 3 days we had which was all planned by Tommy Dao Tours. Both adults and kids had an awesome time. Guides spoke very good English and were so friendly, kind and flexible, as much as our 4y old needed. Which we are really grateful for. The cars were very clean and comfortable. We got to try local food and some new dishes which were delicious. Tommy was very professional and replies very quickly from the beginning. A perfect morning our post lockdown - From the very beginning the entire experience was very professional and organised. I highly recommend Tommy and the team. We had the best day, everyone that we met was lovely and accommodating. Plenty of cold bottled water. Sam our tour guide was fantastic. The tour we did was a perfect post lockdown tour, we really were embedded in the culture countryside Hoi An. We learnt how to make pottery at the Thanh ha Pottery Village, stopped at Tra Que Vegetable farm, met Sa the friendly Buffalo, went basket boating, fishing and crabbing and ended the day with a delicious lunch at a local home. The tour was from 8.30am to 1ish so it was the perfect amount of time for everyone. Thanks again Tommy, we’re already onto planning the next tour!
