Wonderful Embroidery Craft to Learn - Huyen has a wonderful embroidery style. Her course is setup in a way that even beginners got the feeling it’s easy and have the chance to finish a craft and experience the success. The embroidered flowers are beautiful at that.

First attempt - Very first go at any kind of needle work, not as difficult as first looked- but patience needed. Great rainy day activity.

Something different - Lovely chilled afternoon. Daisy is a great teacher and I had a lovely time learning to embroider. Something different to do in Hoi An.

Wonderful Experience - I had such a lovely time learning how to embroider flowers. It has been a long time since I wanted to learn and it made my trip even more memorable having my first class in Vietnam with Thanh Huyen who was an amazing, kind and beautiful teacher. Its definitely something you must do on your free time.

Must Do Embroidery in Hoi An — Calling all Crafters !! - Our favorite activity in Hoi An! Daisy was so patient with us and taught us so much, she is an excellent teacher and her English was perfect!! I was a beginner and so she walked through each stitch many times for me and you get a video tutorial and more thread and supplies when you leave. We embroidered cute tote bags and got to take them with us, its really is not as hard as you would think !! The needle is big and the flowers form very quickly. We really recommend Daisy’s embroidery for any beginners, but Daisy also had advanced stitches too. I tried one advanced but Daisy ended up finishing the flower for me because I was running out of time. She stayed an extra hour and a half because we got so into it !!

Highly recommend - Found little daisy online when looking into things to do in Hoi An and after thinking I’d like to learn embroidery and what better place than Vietnam?! I really enjoyed my two classes with her she showed me lots of techniques and was patient with me. She’s a super lovely woman! I attended both classes solo and was joined by locals which was a really nice experience as it wasn’t overly touristy. I came away with everything I need to continue my skills and i definitely will continue to learn from home. The price is a little high but I guess you pay for the experience!

Fantastic experience - I joined the embroidery and the sewing workshop and both were fantastic. I learned a lot about techniques and how to make it on my own back home. It was a great experience and daisy is a patient and talented teacher. Can highly recommend these courses!

Must do hands-on workshop in the tailoring centre of Hoi An! - I found out about Daisy from a flyer cafe my penultimate day in the city, and she set up up with a private class the following day at my convenience. The whole thing from start to finish was fantastic - we sat in a breezy cafe garden and she taught me so many types of stitching with so much knowledge and patience for a total beginning like me. I came away with all the info I needed, plus a generous goodie bag of supply to continue at home, and of course the bag I'd embroidered. I also came back that afternoon for another one of her private classes, where I made a dress from scratch in her home studio - it was a highlight of my trip - if you want a more unusual class to take, do it!

Fantastic and well worth it - Daisy is great and so helpful. She provides everything you need and shows you anything that you would like to learn. I recommend this in Hoi An if you have time :)
