• Hoi An - The adventure starts by exploring the hidden passageways and winding alleys of Hoi An. After crossing the canal bridge near the night market, the tour continues to the new metal bike bridge that links Hoi An with its southern villages in Quang Nam Province.

• Cẩm Kim - Shortly after the bridge, the tour visits a local family who makes Banh Beo using traditional methods. These small, savory rice flour bowls are a popular breakfast choice in the countryside. The journey continues to one of Hoi An’s most picturesque villages, with a stop at a family home to learn about the tradition of family chapels. The host, who is nearly 90, shares vivid memories of the American war.

• Duy Vinh - The tour pedals past rice fields and vegetable farms along small canals and waterways towards a wooden boat-building site. Fishing remains vital to the province, and witnessing the construction of these ships is a remarkable experience, perfect for photography. If the timing is right, families can be seen cleaning fishing nets between sea journeys.
  The roads narrow to concrete paths, leading to final stops at a traditional mat weaving shop and a family distillery where rice wine has been made the same way for generations. Samples are, of course, provided.
  It’s a short ride from here to board a local ferry for a return trip to town. Keep cameras ready for stunning views of the Hoi An waterfront. Once dockside, it’s a brief 5-minute ride through alleyways back to the Grasshopper shop.
