Hoi An Ancient Town - Hoi An is an ancient town located in the lower section of Thu Bon River, Quang Nam Province, about 30 kilometers south of Danang city. Hoi An was a bustling international trading port,a meeting place of the trading ships of Japan, China and the West during the 17th and 18th centuries. Before this period, there was here also traces of Champa port which was known as a site on Silk Road along the sea. Hoi An ancient town today is a special example of a traditional port city in Southeast Asia which has been well preserved. Most houses here are of traditional architecture dating from the 17th to the 19th century, and are along the narrow main streets. Hoi An is also a land mark recorded much of the mixture of acculturation. The architecture of the city reflects the influence of chinese, japanese, french traders. Hoi An still maintained an intangible cultural diversity and richness.

2:00p.m : We’ll come to collect you from your hotel in Da Nang or Hoi An City, after which we’ll transfer you to Coconut Forest. Here, your seafaring prowess will be tested as you embark on a bamboo basket boat ride. Whilst on the ride, you’ll have the opportunity to indulge in some crab fishing.
You’ll also have the chance to learn from the locals how they cast their large fishing nets, with a chance for you to try it out yourself.
The local guides will exhibit their impressive talents in crafting things like watches, fish, and grasshoppers out of coconut leaves, which you’ll receive as keepsakes. We’ll then proceed to Hoi An City for a walking tour of the ancient old town. Points of interest during our walk will be Phuc Kien Assembly Hall, Tan Ky Ancient house, Japanese covered bridge, and the Cultural and historical museum. Following the walk, we’ll take a Sampan boat cruise along a small river for approximately 20 minutes, which will offer you a glimpse of life in Hoi An during the early evening. After this, you’ll take a stroll to the lantern area and night market or opt for dinner at your own expense at the Night Market. We conclude the tour by returning you to your hotel.
